0:00 Introduction and Car Regrets

Yeah, what are your regrets?

I don't have any.

They've all led me to the point I am at now.

There's nothing you've got.

And I've got Lamborghini!

See, a loud dish, you farts.

You want that?

Just see what the left is, fan is the seed,

G.

I was going to say that.

I was trying.

That's really not to laugh at it.

This is going to be useful.

What do you mean

deck, come back?

Sorry, direct to Benjamin.

Sorry, back.

Hello, and welcome back to the 59th Car's

Rule Everything Around Me podcast.

If you are an audio listener,

your ears do not deceive you.

We are in a moving motor vehicle right now.

We'll get on to that, but first,

before we do anything, William is to my left.

I am Edwin, and behind me in the back seat is Benjamin.

Hello, very nice, very clean in the back.

At the beginning of every Car's Rule

Everything Around Me podcast,

we answer the question to Car's Rule or Ruin

Everything Around Us, William.

It's going to be a rule, actually,

I think.

Again, no reason to ruin, and actually,

I should be picking the glider up very very soon.

I got news today that everything is fixed on it.

Like, everything is fixed, so that should be

back better than ever.

Still, silence in the C.R.E.A.F.

500.

So, there is a hint of ruin in there.

Is that why we're driving in silence?

Yeah, I thought you could all get the

treatment I get.

You should all be listening to the podcast

anyway, just listen to it in your phone or whatever.

I actually listen to you right now,

we're

doing it live.

Hi.

Oh, it's a rule of ruin, buddy.

It's a rule for me this week.

First rule in a long time.

I bought the S2000 home this weekend.

I've been dailying it.

So, you've driven your own car now?

I have.

I have indeed you want.

Surely not.

It's far too low at the front.

Apart from that, you say it's great.

No, it looks great.

It is too low to do anything.

Now, that's not your only car use.

Are you announcing it?

Is this Ben and Rogers?

to announce?

The X5 is possibly sold.

I have agreed to sell it.

I've agreed in a price.

But until that money lands in my account,

you know, you can't really say anything's really sold.

Ben said that very confidently.

Then I offered to gamble with Benjamin.

I said, let's make a little bet that I think

you will still have that X5 come January 1st

by Christmas, actually, I think I said.

And Ben went from being sexually confident

about selling that X5 to going,

what?

Don't say that.

I just don't know.

The bet was made in the end,

not for money, but for an L,

an official L.

The loser will receive an official L.

So we'll see how that goes.

Right, you've got your custom ways,

man.

That was nice.

And that was quite nice, actually,

because it says police.

Is that a federal lease?

There have been five reports so far on the

way here, and there's been nothing.

Okay, so that's just a man on the bike.

That's great.

I think he's actually pissing,

which is quite nice.

So you're sold?

Yeah, it's sold.

I have agreed to sell it.

3:06 Edwin's Car Search and French Driving Experience

And we've agreed on the bread,

i.e.

the money.

And I'm just

waiting for that to land on the account.

And when it's on the account,

I will officially say I should be.

By the next time we film a podcast about next

podcast, I should know.

And for sure.

You should also have your new car?

Well, hopefully I'm about a new daily this week.

And you've decided, not on the car that you mentioned.

Until it's, you don't want to,

you know, don't speak unless spoken to.

Exactly.

That's the one.

Exactly.

It's a rule.

It's a rule for me, sure.

For me, it's a ruin.

Because this weekend, we had a very nice event.

We had Matwood and that was that was really nice.

But after it, I went for a look at a range of a classic.

I said in the last one, I want to buy one.

There was one that kind of met the criteria

that was very expensive.

I went and looked at it.

It was not very good.

It was quite terrible.

Look, it's a range of a classic.

I'm not expecting it to be mint.

They're all pretty shit.

But this one was quite especially shit and he

wanted a lot of money for it.

So I'm back to the drawing board.

There is, I'm thinking now, it might have to

be a temporary daily while I look for a good one.

That's a nice place to be.

It's kind of nice.

And then you can fill that gap with something

interesting, something you might not have chosen.

Yeah, I'm okay.

Can I just fill that hole?

I think I've ever been a something.

Oh, that's interesting.

Last time.

This is a good couple of years now.

Couple years now where you've said,

"I need a winter daily, need a winter daily."

And it takes on to actually get one,

but then there's some other ones that we get one.

Now here is the interesting part.

I have fixed the C55.

Okay.

I could drive my own car, which is,

it does make sense.

It makes a lot of sense.

Do you want it to make sense?

No, I don't like that.

I would like to sell that car.

You had all that time to, sorry.

We'll get on to this, but we are in France.

French drivers, if you're a French creamer,

maybe you haven't, would you,

would you got a creamer there?

You drive badly.

You all drive badly.

It's quite crazy.

The lines are merely a guide.

So yeah, overall for me a ruin,

because yeah, I don't have a rain driver,

I was hoping I would have one.

But let's get on to the important part.

The literally is we just drive past the place

called creamer over there.

We are in France to look at a car.

A French, not a French car.

Oh, a movie car.

Yeah.

We're going to a Barnum's auction,

which has got lots of movie cars coming up

for our current

recording.

They are coming up for auction.

By the time you see this, it'll be done.

That's the long lot.

But it's very cool stuff.

There is an actual screen used Evo7 stunt car

from Too Fast to Furious, replica of the R34

from Too Fast to Furious and some other Fast

to Furious things.

Yeah.

There is the car from Drive,

which Ben enjoyed a lot.

I did.

That was great.

It's motivated me to watch that movie now.

Ben sold it to me.

Ben, you believe that you are Ryan Gosling?

I'm him.

You know why I'm him.

We are all him.

It's a genuinely great film.

And it not only had the car,

but the actual jacket for the movie.

That's what Ben's more excited about.

Ben saw the jacket when I want that.

Ben treated the jacket.

You know when people go into the Vatican or

something and they just want to touch something wholly.

So I'm just going to feel it.

Listen, it's not all cars, guys.

It is all cars.

Let's call clothing that exists as well.

I'd say that cars rule everything around me.

It's kind of my mantra.

I've been ruined everything,

aren't you?

It's just said.

This is a good idea for podcast.

So yeah, the reason we, do we say,

do we say what we look like?

Let's say.

Okay.

Well, we looked because amongst all of these

shiny, lovely, either replica or screen,

news cars, was a hunk of shit in the back.

It really was the perfect, it was hidden.

There were cars kind of going around the

perimeter of the room and behind two at a

call, there was this one with no light on it.

And what it is, is one of the Monte Carlo's

from Tokyo Drift.

And it isn't any Monte Carlo.

It is supposedly the one that did the jump

against the Viper.

So damn cool.

So we decided we'd want a bit on this car.

We can't really do that without going to look at it.

So we thought let's make a video out of doing

it, having a look around the collection of

the cars that are being sold.

And so you join us in the car driving back

from the museum to Charles Deable Airport,

hoping we this off light because of French

parish traffic.

So we'll

see how it goes.

So that's our day of the day.

Oh, my God, how great.

And then also Starsky and Hutch,

no idea.

Knight Rider.

Didn't know what Kit was.

That is insane.

No, I know the film, I just don't know what that was.

It's probably more famous to factor a future.

Delorean.

But still, you know what that was.

Yes, you have.

I've seen that feature.

But even then you don't have to have seen...

8:19 Car Regrets Discussion with Creamers

I don't think I've ever fully watched the

original Starsky and Hutch.

But I still know it.

Listen, we can't all be 45.

I'm sorry.

And that's what you are.

What's that?

Oh, that says "penis".

tires and fridge.

So those are our rules and rules for the week.

That's what we're doing at the moment.

Shall we get on some neckdotes and what such?

Let's do that.

Benjamin, you're going to be the man with the...

Oh, it's me.

Oh, I can do it.

I think I don't think I'm ready for that

promotion, just yet.

Okay.

You are a newsman, though.

Exactly.

When the news comes in, I'm ready to talk.

But when it comes to...

Right, here we go.

We're starting with Benjamin.

This is something you've put in.

It's just the word "car regrets".

Yes, I thought about this in the car on the

way home the other day.

Okay.

Why are you laughing at me, William?

It's just funny.

When I saw that message, it came through,

I thought...

All I thought of you is just sitting there

looking all pensive.

With your SD card?

I regret this.

Shouldn't have done it.

Well, what did you regret?

No, I didn't necessarily.

I'm just saying that we all have regrets in life.

No one's going to go through life and not

regret something.

But I don't.

Let's not dwell on them, of course.

But...

What are the regrets?

And this is a question for the creamers as

well, to perhaps comment on...

Do you have your biggest regret with cars?

I wish I hadn't bought that car.

I wish I hadn't modified it in that way.

I wish I hadn't have done that.

I wish I hadn't have ruined the way it drove.

What a talk to me.

I don't think I regret a single thing I

bought a car or modified of it.

I regret not doing things.

Okay.

Please, would you expand on that?

Show your workings.

My mark for golf, the one that I regret

selling that to my sister and I regret not

buying it back.

Actually, no, I don't mind that she had it,

but I didn't buy it back.

I'm not doing mama's on cars that I bought.

Yeah, there are many things,

but you know what?

Hindsight is 2025.

And that's what we're in.

So, you know, you can't, you can't,

don't look back in anger.

It's the question.

Oh, what a song.

Now, my question to you though is,

sure there's something like how you bought it.

You're like, you know what, I didn't do

that.

I don't think I do because I research everything.

Incredibly.

There is, I make sure that I never buy

something on a win.

Maybe I do, but even then I've done research

previously to it.

Not even on the C55?

No, because it did my job.

It did my job.

Mate, you need to present for YouTube channel.

No worries.

Okay.

No, it did its job.

You're 850?

No, because that is what got me into doing.

I did stuff to that car.

Like, I know it's not done and it's the statue supreme.

I'm glad I bought it.

The TV scene, I know.

Also, if I hadn't have the four,

the 850, we'd never know who this.

There we go.

I know this is a great friend.

I know who this has been a valuable addition to us.

That's 205.

Oh, cool.

It's a little, yeah, nice.

People listening, all the 205,

imagine one of those.

Okay, great.

Ben's wonderful imagination at work again.

I can't make you see it, I've got to explain this.

I can't make you see it.

You're digging so deep.

You must have what's troubling you,

mate.

No, nothing, imminently.

Be A3.

Oh, God, yeah.

A3, my C4.

No, I like the X5.

Now, is the S2000 in that list?

Not currently.

No.

I had a moment with it.

Because currently,

the front of it is just far too.

It looks quite cool, but the front of it is

far too low to do anything.

I was driving it around and I was like,

you know what?

Why have I done this?

Would it be better if it was stock?

And then I hit...

Hello?

It's a Galardo.

No, it was a Facebook actually.

People imagine the right one.

A Facebook Galardo.

I had a moment where I was like,

you know what?

Should I modify that at all?

Should I have kept a stock?

Would it have been better car if I kept it stock?

But do you know what?

I actually did a nice little into a corner,

the acceleration I thought.

Hard on the brakes or not?

No, off the brakes, an accelerator actually.

But hard on the accelerator?

Yeah, famously.

Do you really not just tip the nose in?

Yeah.

Just feel the mechanical grip coming through.

Feel the snap over steer.

Just take you into a hedge.

Be regret.

Oh no, got my A3, my Suzuki Swift Sport.

You regret?

OK, you had problems with that though,

right?

I was boring, bad.

What about your micro, your first car?

No!

I regret.

I'm driving regret.

Do you want to actually regret that car?

There you go.

There you go.

My brother had it, my younger brother had it.

And he, when he learned to drive,

and you had it for, for like,

for the first month of driving,

and then, it's because I was quite rough the

time he had it.

And then-- Who did that?

No, it was just rusting.

No, I didn't do that.

It was already 200 pounds, I bought it.

Who's like that?

Mr.

Deferred maintenance himself.

Well, what I'm saying is, it,

13:06 Ben's First Car and Regrets

and then him, my dad will, like,

less, less, less, less, less,

less.

Now, you regret getting rid of it,

but what was the option?

I had the money.

I couldn't-- But that's what I'm saying is,

like, what would you have done?

Would you-- Now, if you'd just kept it for 10

years, and that'd been your only car,

you might have regret that.

Yeah, and you'd regret the other

opportunities that you'd lost out on.

If you kept the micro, would you be here today?

Exactly.

You'd probably be dead, because it would be crashed.

Sure.

That car-- Have I taught this before on the podcast?

I'm not sure.

My first car.

OK, imagine a micro.

Imagine a K11 micro in blue.

K11?

Yep.

Nice.

I just had to imagine a K11 micro.

Was that a K11?

Yeah, that's interesting.

That car, actually-- I don't think I've

talked about this before.

It went away, and I think it got auctioned

off for about 100 pounds.

And then my brother was at university.

And he came across my exact car,

just in the car park.

And he left a lesson note on it.

It's fresh.

I never said anything.

But I saw it driving one more time to that.

I wish.

I just wish I pursued that.

That's my biggest regret to let you buy it back.

Which means it wasn't meant to be.

No.

It still exists.

Just see what the left is, Ben.

It's the seed G.

I was going to say that.

I was trying-- That's really not to laugh at it.

I was like, again, this is going to be peaceful.

What do you mean deck, come back?

I'm sorry.

I'm sorry.

I'm sorry, Benjamin.

I'm sorry, Ben.

Oh, no one can see it.

What the f-- Do you think the audio listeners

are doing for the entire thing in the car?

It says the word seed G.

Cut that.

Is that all for your regrets then?

People can't say-- Is that all your regrets?

Well, yeah.

It's basically every single car you've ever missed.

Yeah, well, you're regrets.

I don't have any.

They've all led me to the point I am at now.

There's nothing you've-- And I've got a Lamborghini.

Do not actually do-- Because I think I've

regretted selling.

But again, I don't.

Because you moved on to something else and

tried something different.

So it's not really a regret.

Some of them you feel sad about,

or nostalgic about.

But my M3, I didn't want to sell it when I

did sell it.

So that's like-- It's not regret as such.

But it's like-- Do you think so?

Do you-- I regret you selling your F10M5.

Yeah, I don't regret it as such.

No, because I regret you selling.

I hate-- Oh, OK.

Oh, sorry.

That was not deliberate.

But we were listening to "Too Fast and

Furious" because we were-- We were getting in

the zone of "Fast and Furious" all the way.

I regret-- One thing I genuinely sort of

regret, or I wish I had the knowledge earlier

on, is when I had bought that GTR,

many years ago, is spending all that money on

it, and not

financing it, or buying something that made more sense.

I could have bought a glardo then.

I would have got my

redundant and had to sell it and been in all

sorts of pain.

But I would have at least made a little bit

of money on it.

So sometimes I think about that.

I'm like, would that have been more sensible back in?

You saw part of the car journey.

Ham site.

You wish you had it.

You know, hindsight is a wonderful thing.

He's a river in Egypt.

And Ben thrived.

on hindsight.

But that's true, Ben.

You know what?

That's why I think you have more regrets than

the average man.

I don't miss the hindsight.

No, I don't.

I love that song.

There's nothing wrong with looking back and

thinking, you know what, I was a poor decision.

Okay.

Well, I think that's fair.

I think it's good to reflect it exactly.

It's good to look back and go.

Okay.

I made an L.

I made myself an L there.

But you guys look at it in a different way.

I look at it and I go, I go,

okay, that was bad.

But you look at it and go, I spoke.

Yeah, true, much.

Yeah.

Because again, it's just it was a learning.

Hey, you know, as a New York would say,

what are you going to do about it?

It's fair.

No, it's it's the it's the philosopher you

grew up with.

It's right.

What we got next next on the list,

we have Ford now sells used cars on Amazon.

Yes, I saw this.

Okay.

Can you speak about it?

Yeah, I'm going to find it.

Okay.

Sorry.

Is it like is it as easy to order as can you do that?

Like one tap thai thing where you

accidentally order 30 grand will be delivered by Tuesday.

Okay, that's nice.

Yeah, then it on Tuesday.

Thursday.

It says, it's still arriving today.

I know.

I don't know.

I'll have it at 11 o'clock.

It goes arrive tomorrow morning.

And then it's in its list of features.

It just have an advisory zone.

It's not going to pass the next one.

I'm not going to use.

Mine was dreadful.

It's reviews, but it's for that car.

It's all the previous owners that have

17:16 Ford Selling Used Cars on Amazon

gone, right?

This was fantastic.

Oh, yeah.

It's an interesting concept.

I mean, I'm really hoping that Ben will chime

in with some ads on news from this news.

Lots to know about it.

For the Amazon rollout, let's shop as brows

CPO cars and all that means from dealers

within 75 miles.

And it's not just Ford's.

There are Jeeps, Chevy's is American,

honestly.

But you can, apparently, buy used cars on Amazon.

CPO used cars.

Certified pre-owned.

It would make sense to me for brand new cars,

almost, because there was zero order it.

But then it turns out, ordering it like how used.

Are we talking like actual, like,

for junkers?

Or are we talking like, well,

I guess, Fela, for it to be certified

pre-owned, it must be.

I guess it makes sense, they know they can

give it their label of approval.

But I don't understand this weird shift that

normal people seem to be moving to,

whether they look just like ordering cars

they've never seen or looked at before.

Maybe they are, maybe they're going to go and

look at one in a dealership or somewhere first.

But that's crazy to me, the whole click and

deliver on a car.

It's a car man.

You have to go and try different ones.

I don't understand it.

Yeah.

But it's like, it's really everyone going,

"Oh, well, we kind of had to do that."

But now we don't have to do that.

They go, "Well, actually, I quite like that actually."

But it just feels odd to make one of the

biggest purchases you will ever make.

Exactly.

"Ah, just see what happens when it turns up."

I guess some of them, they're probably new

enough and boring enough that it's sort of

much of a muchness.

Unless you're actually on a specic car or get

a particular color or whatever,

then you just go, "Yeah, I'm sure people are

going to say that this is a thing."

But it's not like you could do it with a hat.

I don't know if you have to go to the house.

No.

You don't go on the right move and just go,

"I'm going to go buy and click buy and just go this."

"Oh, my house has been delivered."

That has been delivered.

Where is it?

Then you have to go there.

Oh, what?

I never understand this because it's the new

daily I'm currently looking at.

It's from a dealer.

And it says on the advert, it says,

"Call now to range delivery today."

So I can just buy it online without looking at that.

It's a used car.

You can just go and not look at it.

Have we spoken about the Auto-attray,

the thing?

No.

That's quite interesting.

I don't know the full ins and outs of it,

they're losing dealers basically because

they're sort of favoring the buyer,

but they're taking the buying and selling

into their own hands without actually

consulting any of the dealers.

From what I can understand, one of the

biggest things that people are upset about is

that you could go on to Auto-Trader and

obviously people, auto trader charge dealers

a load of money a month.

Even small dealers are paying thousands of

pounds a month for a few cars.

I saw a lot of people say it of dealers

saying it's by far my biggest expense,

is Auto-Trader.

However, Auto-Trader implemented a some form

of reservation system where I can't remember

the number that I wanted to say.

It's £29.

No, it's £99, but it was at 28 days.

I think it's nearly a month,

but it's multiple weeks where someone could

click reserve for £99 and that dealer has to

then keep that car reserved and cannot sell

it to anyone else, but the customer can just

cancel at any point.

So they could wait three weeks or four weeks,

however many what, I want six 28 days,

Ben, you check that for me, please.

I think it's 28 days and then on the 27th

day, go, don't actually want it.

And that dealer has now had that car sat on

his lot, costing him money for a month and

made nothing from it.

And I believe it's just a final straw in a

long line of things that they've kind of been

pushing dealers on.

Reservations are held for 30 days.

Yeah, 30 days.

Absolutely mental.

And so, a lot of them are finding that

auto-trader is still incredibly useful to

them that they sell the most cars to a trader.

So there is that good side of it,

but they're also kind of taking too much into

their own hands now.

If I, like, anyone in my family or anyone

that's not to do with cars, if you mention

cars to them in the UK, they'll go,

I'll go on auto-trader.

And it, for a long time, as a customer of

auto-trader, it works.

They've got a good amount of,

there's a good amount of results.

You can sort it by a nice, lots of different

filters and that sort of stuff,

so it's helpful.

But I can imagine the dealer side,

they're like, I'm struggling enough of it is

to buy and sell cars.

I read what, I'm assuming this was a huge

dealer, but there was one guy,

said he was spending about 36 grand a month.

I saw that on auto-trader.

That is a disgusting amount of money for,

to have someone then go, also by the way,

you can't sell your car, that is,

it's just to connect people.

I guess that is one of the most important

parts of it is connected.

I have to, a seller.

Yeah.

But all the main cost is coming from the

dealer themselves.

Can I reserve anything?

I should reserve like a Lamborghini on auto-trader.

I'm sure there will be dealers on there that

offer cars like that, you could do that.

But they are then, not legally binding,

but to not be penalised, they must reserve that car.

If I'm looking around that car,

and then they get a ping on their phone

saying it's reserved, they can't sell that

car for me now.

Even if I'm a cash buyer there,

not that cash is sought after for dealers,

for most, what, some dealers.

They would go, "No, I have to,

I can't, someone's reserved it."

Got to see what they do.

Isn't that right there?

Yeah.

That's a Clio RS200 Raider.

That is a super rare special edition 200 that is mapped.

And then France is relevant to you.

That's cool.

I'm having med-pint.

And now we'll get on to one to the week in a

bit, but that's one of mine.

Okay, what's up, next?

Well, what next?

That's me, sorry, hi.

My next is S1LN, not all the same owner.

Ben, give us some back.

Round.

Now, me and Edwin actually discussed this

yesterday evening and I--

That's just Ben stated by house last night.

I did indeed.

Sleepover.

He had a sleepover without you.

Crazy.

We had, we just had one big bed and we all heard how.

Yep, and I said rollover.

Yep, a little one said rollover.

Thank you.

And it was nice, yeah.

No, I said it was last night 'cause we had to

get early to fly here.

And we were sat.

Just watching YouTube stuff,

really.

And I, we started discussing this.

It's a promotional video for the new Gordon

Murray S1LM, is it called?

Yes.

The effectively McLaren F1 of the modern day

they've just announced.

And they were officially offered RM Sotheby's

thing in Las Vegas last night.

Last night?

Yes, right.

The last four?

A few days ago.

Anyway.

And one of the things we were told when that

car was announced in Monterey Car Week was

that there were five of them,

11 million each.

And one person bought all of them.

Yes.

But then I started watching them promotional

video for this auction.

And Gordon Murray himself says we went to

great lengths to make sure they went to the

right homes, homes as a plural,

which got me

24:09 Gordon Murray T.50 Ownership Details

thinking.

Maybe that was misinformation of the week.

Me and I see my Mexican friend first.

That's the one.

So,

and then Edwin chimed in with some more

information that I

didn't know.

I did, so there is on top of your website a

very good article that is with a nameless man

who is the person that we all believed was

the single owner of all of the S1Ms.

And he basically told a story saying that he

had owned a P1 GTR.

Through that, he met Gordon Murray,

really loved his ideas and his thought,

really loved his ideas and his thoughts for the T50.

He was supposedly the first customer.

Oh, hello, mate.

He was supposedly the first person to ever

put the closet down on the T50 because he was

like, I believe, I believe in whatever you're doing.

Anyway, he got his T50 and he's been working

closely with Gordon Murray.

I need a guarantee.

No.

And Gordon Murray said, okay,

fine

logistics wise, we need to build five and

they're going to

cost 20 mil each.

And through then some other bits and bobs,

they managed to work out that if they

co-developed it with,

I believe that other one, the Le Mans thing,

they could bring the cost price down to about

10 or 11 mil, which is where that figure of

10 mil each came from.

So I believe that this person,

this nameless figure, I believe he's going to

be called Ben Rogers is what I've heard leak.

I've heard that as well, yeah.

I mean, there's no one else who could afford it.

No, no, will be multi-billionaire,

multi-billionaire Ben.

So I believe he fronted the money for this

creation, but he's very picky about who gets

to buy one because he doesn't want it to just

be buy one, stick one in a shed.

We were worried that they might end up just

going into collections, never to be seen again.

Because even if one or two of them end up

getting used properly out on the roads,

track whatever it is,

Well, so, and supposedly that is what that

meant by, that is what Gordon Murray meant

by, we wanted them to go to correct homes,

that's what it's for.

So this unnamed man, Ben in the back seat,

brackets, has said, "Fine, we can sell them

off, I want mine."

And then the rest must be given to people who

will use them.

So, you know what, maybe a S-111 coming to a

road near you, coming to the TDC unit.

Actually, a small shout out that literally

happened today, my friend Will sent me a

forwarded a message that his girlfriend,

had sent, "Oh look, what was at the gym this morning?"

And just sent me a photo of,

at like five in the morning,

a GMAT 50, just outside of gym.

Whoever you are, cool.

You're doing what the F1 was supposed to be

at four back in the bay, ultimate street car

is what it was supposed to be.

Do it, use it, Gordon Mariamself.

Gordon said, "Let me just run down,

do back today."

You know, I tried to do biceps,

leg day in it.

So I thought, you know, middle sitting

position sounds like the best idea for me.

of that, if I'm honest.

Now on from that, surely, we're talking about

the sale price.

At the sale price, which was 20.2 or 20,000 dollars.

That knows because it just exited as a cow.

Because it, yeah.

I've been, so it came in.

So it came in.

So the new daily is meant to be secret.

Can we stop spoiling it?

Thank you.

You bought your own car?

Yes, that's it.

I bought five, so I sold one,

so I don't need five.

So yeah, so 20 million dollars,

which is funny, because that's still less

than an

F1.

Well, in theory, we haven't seen one kind of

trade publicly for a while, but if you wanted

that vibe in an F1 like a GTR.

Oh, that's not an F1 road car.

No, yeah, you'll add something more than that.

You're going to pay, you're rich millionaire,

I'd say.

Yeah, you've got pennies, I guess.

So interesting, but like the car doesn't exist.

It's not a thing yet.

Yeah.

So that was the other confirmation that we

got we were talking about last time.

It is for a build slot.

It's for a configuration.

So you don't have to have it,

you can have it however you want.

I'm interested in what specs.

What specs?

I quite like the specs in what they reveal,

but what we're doing here, folks,

let's not ruin it, let's not mess it up.

Now, here's my question.

We're not questioned, statement.

Okay.

I don't know anything about anything,

right?

Okay, that's a good one.

I thought it would be wrong for more.

Why is that?

Because I read originally that it was in

offers in almost bidding and starting an

excess of 20 million.

And bidding might have started like five

million, I have no idea.

But I looked at, I thought, oh,

that's a lot of money, obviously,

but I thought it would be more.

So Ben thought you thought it was a good deal.

You'd have to.

No, I thought that's why you talked a bit in

bid on your phone.

No, no.

You weren't expecting to win that.

If no one else was going to bid on.

I thought, oh, I basically given these away.

(laughs)

Yeah, no.

But the thing that's interesting though,

is that an F1 was a, I can't remember what

the number of justify inflation was,

but it was a couple hundred thousand pound car.

It was obscenely expensive back in the 90s,

but it's not it wasn't 20 million much.

It's kind of like GMAT50 is about right.

So over a T50, it's obscene.

It's what, it's five, four or five times the

amount as a T50.

Well, there's now, there has been a T50

that's gone through auction,

or there's about another one as well,

right?

It's Abu Dhabi, there is going to be chassis

14 McLaren F1, which was the original,

one of the original Brunei cars,

which was a yellow car that got repainted

white, it's the one we saw.

That is going through with a T50.

So we will see them side by side.

What, they go for?

You spent all his money now,

isn't it?

So,

Funny how?

Gonna have to take a look, finance out to get that one.

Oh, it's gonna be just, just,

it's gonna cripple the podcast,

Benjamin, if you keep spending like that.

We're doing this one in the dark,

but we're doing it in Audi's anymore.

Oh yeah, that's the other thing,

we are in a rental, sixth, for some reason,

is the only one company I can find that will

take a non-credit card, and they for the same

price of it as a, what does it not cost,

an Astra?

Was it, was a luxury wagon?

So we've got an Audi, it's an event or a

station wagon on a state where everyone would

call it, it's four doors, not the big one,

small one.

Yeah, it's a sort of small three series size,

okay.

So there's an A4, that's the A4.

No, no, we're in an Audi A5 event.

The one that we talked about a couple weeks

ago, we are in our rolling nightmare,

we're inside it.

I mean, should have just done it at the desk

when they said, your A5, what's the A4?

No, no, it's an A4.

Truly speaking, it is.

A4.

Despite the name.

It's so new car.

Your dash goes from

your door to into my part, and then it stops

here, like

stops over the center console.

And then I've got my own

screen in the passenger seat here.

Which I discovered when

I was in the passenger seat early on,

you can't see or the

driver cannot see that.

No, if I go into me if you pick a

particular menu.

So I'm in navigation now, we'll not see it.

You're just staring out that extreme.

Yeah, whereas if I click home,

you can now see.

31:00 Audi A5 Experience and Genesis G90 Wing Back Concept

Yeah, and I've got 770 kilometres of range left.

Which is quite impressive.

But this is a 2.0-litre diesel,

yes.

So it's got the SG gear, although when I did

a kick down earlier to move,

it did feel like a CVT.

It felt like I was kicking down into all the

gears just mushed together into one.

You kicked it down into rubber bands.

Ben, what's your understanding of how a CVT

transmission works?

Two big cones, one big belt.

OK, actually, I mean, absolutely correct.

It doesn't have a cloth seat,

though.

I wish I liked them

quite a lot.

And they're heated at the front,

right?

I'm

starting to, yep.

They're heated cloth.

Why have you got in the back?

I can choose my client control and I have two

charging ports.

Have you got car back there?

Because we've got, like, car up here.

You've got car up here?

I've got less car.

It's also not that comfy back here,

I promise.

No.

It's quite hard.

I find these seats quite hard.

I mean, this is not a review by me.

but I feel so little towards this car.

Now, the next thing

Will, you've put in, is the new Genesis.

The new Genesis.

Now, unfortunately, I wasn't expecting to be

speaking about it while driving,

so I may need some aid on some

information.

I will do that.

But Genesis revealed a load of

cars or some cars.

There was a station wagon.

Yes, which I

absolutely did.

I think there was a saloon, which I may have

just made up, and there was,

like, a sports station wagon.

Supercar.

So, we're going to start with a sports supercar.

It looks very cool.

It's set to launch with its very own

supercar, and it'll be powered by a

twin-turbo V8 engine.

3.8?

I'm going to tell you that right now when I

scroll through

the article.

The actual car.

Yeah, it's not like all that car looks amazing.

Ah, it's electric.

No, it's also shame on the rest of you.

Yeah.

If this is possible, and I'm not saying,

like Hyundai, I think it's on a streak at the moment.

The I-20M, the I-30N are both really good fun cars.

I like them a lot, and I still wouldn't choose one.

I'd go for something else instead,

but I like the effort.

They're trying.

They're doing things.

That's cool.

A+ for effort.

And then the wagon.

The wagon, the estate car, is that stood out

to me because it just looked really cool.

Yeah.

But I saw an image and I just thought,

"That's gonna be electric."

Yeah.

And then I read, "Lone behold,

words."

So the Genesis G90 Wing Back,

now that is a concept, obviously they're all

concepts, but they are saying the G90,

the Wing Back, the G90 Wing Back.

That's just a bit of love to say.

But they're saying that it is something that

I want to do because it's there.

Magma is what they're calling it,

which is a little bit Dr.

Evil.

Magma is their M line.

It's gonna be Genesis is what?

What should we get?

What about a Magma?

There's so many letters, which one's being used?

M is not being used.

We should go for that one.

So, but it is supposedly an S-class sized wagon.

So that's big boy.

That's M5.

M5 RS6 style thing.

And so, but the chunk of this thing is absolutely lovely.

I can't find any information about the engine

on the wagon.

I think the wagon is like a,

"Hey man, what if?"

But the supercar thing is like,

"We got ideas."

I'm wondering if there's some form of

homologation if they're needing to do it for

racing, which would be cool.

I have a theory about cars.

Okay, the movie or the things?

Only the things, the objects,

the car.

I think they will be getting better.

Do you think there's been enough backlash?

I think...

After a little while, people will go,

"Hang on a sec."

"Hang on a sec."

So we're delaying all this electric stuff so

we can just go back to petrol engines and stuff now.

You know what I mean?

It's fine, actually, yeah.

It's a parent with a child who's been missing him badly.

Look, if you do your homework,

if you've done a couple of electric cars,

you can go back to the twin turbo V8s.

I know you like them.

There's so many modern things now that are in

the last 10 years that come along that could

make you better.

I use Porsche, for example.

They might like the new turbo,

as the fact that it's part of electric,

but they are doing it in the way it should

be, which is to make the car quicker and

better and faster.

That's what we need them for.

But what I mean is less than that.

Yeah, just going back to me.

Give me more engine.

Give me better engine.

Give me more stuffs.

Especially if, okay, low volume,

super car manufacturers, I'm gonna say low

volume, I mean, you know, hurricanes,

I know they're still sold lots of,

or sorry, Temerarios, but they're still not high volume.

They're not selling like Kien's.

That person, granted most people who buy

them, don't really care.

They just want the aesthetic.

But the amount of people who are now going to

singer, going to retro power,

going to gun for works and spending all this

money to have a car that doesn't have any of

the new stuff, surely must tell manufacturers.

People actually like this so little that

they're willing to go out of their way to go

and find something that doesn't have it.

That's gotta be a telltale that they're going back.

I just got this burning feeling that they're

going to go, you know what, cars are back.

Cars too.

Cars will be coming back.

That'll just mean all the classic stuff will

just go, "Oh, so this isn't worth a load of

money anymore?"

I don't think that will always be interest in

the really cool or really rare classic stuff.

But it would be nice if someone went,

"You know what?

Sud it.

The V12S class is coming back."

I'm having a V12 in it.

But in my lifetime, my hope,

God, I hope, that would be lovely.

What have we got next?

We've got next.

Ben, you have put in here the new Sea Laser.

Yeah, there's been Mr.

Under the Sea Laser video.

A third, Mr.

President.

Another funny moments of the Cream Podcast

and we all laugh very much at the intro particularly.

As always, go find it.

Sea Laser.

He's got among men.

He's Creamer of the Week.

He's got to be.

So, as always, go watch those.

Thank you for taking us out of context.

I'd say, you know what?

The second one, because we knew we were being

listened to.

Maybe there were more deliberate drop-ins than most.

I think third, we're back to--

Yeah, that was kind of real bullshit.

I listened to some of it.

I was like, what am I talking about,

man?

What are we saying?

I listened back to it and I thought,

I kind of find this funny.

But why does everyone else find this funny?

Yeah.

It's funny to us.

But some of it is pure gibberish.

It's laughing at someone.

Yeah, I think it's what it is.

And that's fine.

That's completely fine.

That's completely fine.

Fly on the wall.

Look at those guys.

They're so dumb.

What have we got next?

We've next.

I've got-- I've-- this is a little rant.

Black lettering on dark cars.

OK, I'm willing to fight this corner.

Let's go.

You know how new

38:17 Black Lettering on Dark Cars Debate

cars you can have badged-- you can have your

badges in certain colors.

You can have it.

Normally, the classic is chrome.

Your chrome badges.

Now, I understand that's not for everyone.

But things like Astras and Paul which is the

Porsche's the classic.

You have dark lettering.

This is black.

Why are you paying more for it on a dark car?

You can't see it.

So just get rid of it.

Like a Cayenne, you can have a model deletion.

You can delete the badge.

But you're paying more to have it black.

You can't see it.

No, but you can't.

So I was driving behind on yesterday for an hour.

And you could only see it when you get like

this close, a meter or so.

But then why wouldn't you have it silver so

that people can

see it?

Because then it doesn't fit the rest of it.

If you

want a car, that is murdered out.

But there you go, then

you want everything to be black.

My trims are black, so I'll

just remove them.

But then why wouldn't you have a D badge?

If you have a black grill, so I'll just have no grill.

No, but the grill is still there as part of an aesthetic.

The badge is just there.

It's just a name.

But you can still see it.

But you can't.

When you're driving behind it,

in the light,

cannot see it.

on Porsche, you're going to be paying bread for that.

And yet, you can't see.

I just don't understand it.

It doesn't make sense to me.

I don't like it.

You can get a Rolls, Royce

and Bentley.

And it's very expensive to get the black badge

stuff.

But again, that's the same thing.

The badge is black.

So you can see the details of it,

but people want the full.

But that's fine.

Because you can still see there's still

silver within the badge that makes it.

You can see it.

Like it's not the full thing black.

It's not the full thing black.

It's not completely blacked out.

But on a white car, you'd understand it.

What?

Yo, yeah.

Then I can get it on a silver car or a dark car.

But I was behind a black car end with a black badge.

And I thought it was de-badged until I got

about a meter from it in traffic.

And then finally saw the word 'kyan'.

Perhaps I need to go to spec savers.

This is my...

That is also positive.

I'm legally blind.

Benjamin, a black badge?

No, Ben's just quiet.

Ben doesn't like when mum and dad fight.

But all the time, like all the time.

I do.

I prefer all the time.

I don't care.

No, don't worry about it.

We're just on a podcast, don't worry about it.

No, I just don't.

I care about my badges.

My badges colour is like that.

I never think it makes a difference.

Yes.

Okay, that's interesting.

So what about chrome trims and wasps?

Does that affect you at all?

If there's like excessive, like,

yeah, but no, I don't really have a notice.

Like your X5, for example, right?

I couldn't tell you.

You have got...

That's right.

I was very close, Mr.

by Cyclist.

Your X5 is beautifully made.

X5, apparently, according to you.

But it has dark trims.

I actually don't know if there is a normal

chrome one, but if that was all chrome,

it would look...

Look at that, like Q7.

Do you mind it?

It's fine.

It looks like two.

But do you know what hit?

Now, here's something I will agree.

Dark trims, if it's got tinted windows,

if it's got chrome trims, they then they

should be fully see through.

Because it adds to it.

Yes, and I don't think there is.

There is a case by case.

I can't give it a flat.

Yeah, man.

I can't be this.

Yeah, okay.

It is case by case on most things.

But this veto in front, if you have the versions.

Well, there you go.

This Tesla has black window trims.

I don't think it adds anything in the fact

that it's black.

I also don't think I would care if it was silver.

It doesn't make a difference.

So, Ben, perhaps I'm with you,

buddy.

Whenever I look at, like, that Tesla now,

if I look at it, I think that would look

weird with chrome.

But I guarantee that had chrome,

I'd look at it and think it would look weird with black.

It hurt.

I mean, it's just what it is.

And you know what?

Pass one for the creamers.

To duke it out in the comments.

I think it will be 75.25 in the end.

75 people, black trim favor.

I would agree.

I think most people are on that black trim game.

And there will be the chrome elite,

despite having a little thing in their brain

that says, "I do actually quite like the black trims."

They'll go, "I don't like that at all."

It's too chintzy for me.

I would like to sue myself.

It's a reflection of my trims,

thank you very much.

Well, look at this.

This is what Cleo makes model with his black trims.

The next thing I've put on there is the H.W.E.A.M.

crash test.

I saw that.

So, Ben, do you know what the H.W.E.A.M.

is?

I'm no idea.

There is a company in Germany,

I believe, called H.W.E.A, who are doing

essentially a restomod 190E Cosworth,

but an Evo2, which is the wide-body,

the big-wing, the really cool one.

I think they're going for like a total of

about 100 cars.

It's got a modern V6 twin turbo in it with a

five-speed manual, which is very cool.

But because I think they're registering them

as new cars, they have to be crash-tested.

And I watched there was a crash test done

last week, and it's quite sad.

Just seeing like a nice Evo2 mark being crashed.

But I saw that, and then I saw a,

I think it was a classic American is on

Instagram, an American car restomod being

crash-tested as well.

That's kind of crazy.

You're having to go through and jump through

all these hoops just to sell a car that exists already.

was sort of a viral one where it was,

they had to be selling enough cars,

so they have to do crash test ones.

And it's just a millions of pounds worth of

car just blasting into a wall.

And they need multiple of those to sign it off.

And then there's the one with the hammer test

for the CoDX.

It's just a man walking around hammering CoDXig.

We do it, man.

Quite painful.

But at the same time, quite like to be the

man doing that, just getting to just be

whistling these all for the day.

definitely crash one.

This is the right one.

This is the crash one.

This isn't a billionaires one who's going to

come kill me.

He starts matching it up.

And they go, right now, pull the crash one in.

No, no, no, no, no.

He's smashed the one out.

I'm so sorry.

But yeah, it's amazing to me that that is now

a thing that people are going to have.

Well, it's going to happen more and more with

all these cars being resto modded.

Some governments are going to go,

no, it's not the original one anymore.

You've got that all carbon fiber tub brother.

Let's go again.

The C.R.E.A.M.

front, half the front goes into the other

half of the front, and the other car,

and it just wraps around it,

it just crumples.

Back when we had that Corsa B with the Saab

engine in, I got a message from a guy,

short on the Corsa, that was quite a fast car

in, you know, 300 horsepower or whatever,

in, oh, it's essentially a tin can,

the guy who messaged me and said,

"Please put a cage in there."

And I was like, "Yes, you don't need a cage in there."

And he said, "No, I had a crash,

not even that bad of a crash in a Corsa B,

and I'm like disabled from the waist down and stuff."

Like basically in a crash, a car like that.

It just turns into a cam.

Just crumples.

Yeah.

So you are the crumples zone.

Please do watch out as much as we love these

'70s, '80s, '90s cars, even 2000s.

They are not built like new cars,

especially with how much new cars weigh.

Even this A4, taken A4 from the early 2000s,

it's gonna be what?

1.5 tons, maybe?

You see like the A-pillars and B-pillars on cars.

Yeah, on an older car, you go,

"Jesus."

But yeah, it's a pair of matchsticks holding

up the roof.

If you take something like this new A4 going

into something old, the new car will win.

It always will win.

So be careful.

Ben, do we have a forum

to end?

I have a forum, just here on my phone.

It's on

46:54 Forum Question - Car Density in Cities

YouTube from...

I do think...it depends on the city...well,

most cities,

they have too many cars in any way,

for the most part,

which means they are an absolute dog to drive

in, even if

you did want to drive in them.

So, I don't think more cars in cities is a good thing.

I think, like, take somewhere like...

if you're a Malfi Coast, or like...what's the

one in Greece?

Or why?

Santorini.

Santorini.

Take Santorini.

Right?

Level it.

Multi-story car park.

Done.

Yeah.

It's lovely.

It's just a big skid pad.

I think we...I think they love it.

I think the locals love it.

Yeah.

I mean, it'd be a tourist destination.

You'd get everyone in.

No one would have to be waiting for buses or taxis.

No.

I think there are places where cars don't belong.

They're like that.

Go to, like, Ben.

I was about to say you and I went to New York.

Not true.

You and I have each been to be your cut on

separate occasions.

There are lovely parts of that,

which I drove to, which car wasn't good for.

And I would love to be able to walk through

the streets with no worry of it there being a

car, with there being some clown tourist

driving on the wrong side of the road at 50

mile an hour.

That'd be lovely.

But then equally, there are places where I

don't want to walk around, which I want to

get in the car and move.

Like right now, we are driving through,

we're basically going through the center of

Paris where our ETA is taking up and up and up.

That's not fun.

Then, if I'm going through London,

unless it's nighttime on a local weekend,

I'll just get a train.

London, London.

That's a great point.

I think it's a great one.

It's amazing to, well, whenever I want to

actually drive into London, there's like a

sort of tourist thing, go ultra late at night.

It's great.

If you have a car, like a modified,

wherever, any car, and you want to go through

London, go like super late at night on a

weekday or whatever, where it's super late,

you will still be stunned at how some roads

could be absolutely gridlocked at 11 o'clock

midnight when I am.

But still, being able to drive around all

those tourist bits where everything's lit up,

but not after waiting loads of traffic is

really, really cool.

But it's just not really great for driving.

Which always confuses me when you have people

with super cars and whatever else,

and they purely keep them in London.

They never stretch their legs outside of that.

That's always kind of bizarre to me.

Yeah, we've done it.

We've gone into London a few times to do late

night photography, and that's fun.

But driving into London on a Saturday

afternoon, don't do that.

Yeah, maybe it does ruin some of it,

but cars is

almost like part of the London thing.

I guess some London people might counter

that, that they could be able to add to

social a bit annoying, but just going to

London, and you're seeing all the sights in

the shops and whatever, blah,

blah, blah, all those other people who want

to see in London, then you've just got a

Countach parked up somewhere,

or a mad coloured M5 or whatever.

That's kind of what I like about London,

but Yeah, I don't think more cars and cities

is a good idea.

Ben?

Now I like, I don't know, for practicality,

I like a car centric architecture.

I quite like it for practicality,

but then I just feel sad, it's just concrete

everywhere and long.

I don't think it's functional for a city to

be car centric.

A lot of American cities are very,

obviously,

there's not very walkable, and I don't like

that, I'll be honest to you.

I like a city that has a little bit of

character to it, but then equally,

if I've got a just get me to be,

I want, like, right now, for example,

I'd rather just have a freeway,

man.

50:35 Edge Cities vs Rural Living

Stop you.

How about freeway?

Take me back to Chardagool.

Chardagool.

That's the goal of a guy.

That's not where we're going right now.

But no, I prefer, I like a bit of character,

but it depends.

Just simply...

Sausages.

Simply Sausage, Darlington.

And that's the place that is car centric.

Well, I just don't, I forgot the question.

Was there something else in there?

It's like Milton Keynes.

Like, do you want to live in Milton Keynes?

No.

No, I don't think that's the same.

Yeah, but that's built like American city,

it's got blocks.

Okay, so we're talking about like,

edge cities in general.

We're talking about super firm.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

What do you prefer?

Well, I prefer...

Well, of

course cars, yeah.

I prefer being rural anyway.

I like a quiet mess.

There is something nice about not having to

drive to everything, if you know what I mean.

Yeah, that's, yeah.

Having to get in the car, I'm going,

right, I need to go and get milk.

I have a 35 minute trek.

Please wait for me while I get milk.

I'll be back in an hour, it's not very pleasant,

but...

Yeah, having cars or transport rather than

going, I need a taxi or train or whatever is better.

But I also mean for your enthusiastic point

of view, 'cause you know, if it was a big

open wide city road and it was quite a night,

you could have a bit of fun on that,

but you prefer that.

That'd be legal though, wouldn't it?

You can't be doing that way.

What would you say?

Come on, how quickly you'll go,

and you could be going very slowly.

That would be very fun then,

wouldn't it?

Depends what you want.

Depends what your idea of fun is.

Got you.

Right, so I think I asked you a third question.

We are running low on some forum questions,

so please do feel free to stick your forums,

(laughs)

No, please put them in the comments,

both on Spotify, if you're listening on

Spotify, there are comments sections there,

and on the YouTube channel, so chuck one in

there, and then let's find a very quick fire,

end of a one of the week.

I'm gonna have to think, so someone go first.

I, well, the range of a class figure is quite with.

Oh, there's one.

No, no, no, I don't, what a black one.

In a clear 197, I've liked them forever,

and I would like one as like a cheap beater

when we're at winter round, winter run

around, if it's possible, 'cause that would

just be cool, cool to run around in,

or twingo, twingo one, one, three,

three, one of my favorite cars on earth.

Benjamin?

I just don't know what I want.

You know what you want.

I quite like a Mark 7.5 Golf GTI.

Okay.

Sword, that's for a clean one.

I thought that's a great car.

Would you be, what kind of golf GTI person

would you be?

Would you be sort of...

Do options not that?

Good value lease person.

He's got the lease, good value,

but he's got a well-to-do job.

He's in his 30s like you, multiple kids like

you, millions in the bank like you.

And he just sort of uses it as is.

The GTI, it's my Swiss Army knife tool.

It really, it just does everything,

doesn't it?

He's not, like stage one map,

he's like, never heard of it.

Never heard of it.

Well, I need to fold out a map to look at this car.

Yeah, it's got a cop stand off.

I have a dog, I don't understand.

Is that you or are you more,

this is Mark 7.5, yeah, we've got,

it's got the goal far wheels.

And then also got some off the market with us

from a drag racing.

And then I'm gonna, we could map on it and

pop some bangs and maybe a dazza.

I mean, what do you think?

I think you're the, I think you're a mixture.

I think you might be somewhere in the middle

of the head too.

I think you'd like to be nearer the first

one, and possibly push you to the second one.

I agree, yeah.

Yeah, yeah.

You gotta start, let's start a spring ride.

Like surely, surely a decal would be.

Look, you can get the frittorias on,

man, it looks great.

(laughs)

But got DSG.

DSG five.

Three-door, please.

Being loud DSG farts.

You want that?

(blows raspberry)

No, I want a DSG and I would have it all

subtle, but it's just, you know,

if you need to get out of the way of someone,

off you go.

You need to get out of their way?

(laughs)

I think you can do that in most cars.

Well, he's had past issues with getting out

of the way.

That's good.

You're going to flash those blights at me.

I'll have to get out of the way.

All right, I'll be a bit quicker next time.

(laughs)

It's a good one tax at 18

myself up for a minute.

(laughs)

Go on then, will you

tell me what your dream car on the week is?

What are the

week for you?

I think the silence in the CL has had me--

Sounds like an album.

The silence in the CL has had me lingering

around auto trader and other some suchs.

The fours have been looked at,

advanced, because I've B7, B7 I was full,

wing back seats.

One of those sat, sat just scrumptuously,

really does tickle my pickle.

And then the

55:12 Dream Cars for the Week

thing actually, for the enough,

is also Clio's, I feel I've,

Mégane, we're just coming back very soon.

For the sixth week of Rome.

(laughs)

It was coming back soon.

I do own him again.

Surely, maybe.

I saw that car in June, it was great.

Yeah, sure.

(laughs)

Yes.

Clio 200 or what, preferably a 197,

but it's specifically a liquid yellow one.

It's the best color.

I would like to be back in a Clio.

2026 will be the year of being back in a Clio.

Okay, interesting, 'cause then it'll be like

three or four years straight of being in a Clio.

A bet?

A bet.

I mean, I'm willing to make that.

Okay, and what is the bet?

I've got all year to buy Clio.

Is it for an official L?

Or is it for--

No, I will do it for four Nandos.

Four Nandos.

No, no, 'cause I--

Oh, no.

It doesn't want it now.

It's an official L.

You can spread them out, though,

if you lose.

It's an official L.

You can spread them out.

What, how about an official L and a Nandos?

One Nandos and official L.

Here's what I would like.

I would like you to write to me an apology.

Oh, a letter I'd say, yeah, yeah.

It is an apology, this is an L apology.

But I want you to write me an apology.

I don't want you to apologize.

Yeah, if that's cool.

All right, do.

That's how it works.

And here's my thing, you must own a clear.

Don't buy something just to get it.

You gotta get a cut, you can drive and it's

cut, you like.

And it is liquid yellow.

I mean, it's Will, Will's only gonna buy a

cut, he wants it.

Okay, liquid yellow and it must be...

Stop adding terms and conditions.

No, it must be £40,000.

Rather than being next year,

I want it to be whilst you're still 31.

So you have just angry, yeah.

Well, we're just getting, finding ways to get...

You are so crap at gambling,

it's unbelievable.

Okay, is that a deal?

So it's liquid yellow.

Shake the damn hand out of the drive.

Okay, I'll take another card,

but only if you promise that you won't get a

good one on yours.

It's liquid yellow at 31.

Do?

Yeah, it's cool.

Before you become a 32.

And I want an apology, a written hand written.

We will frame this.

Okay, and then the same for you to me when

you don't buy one.

Okay, I mean, yeah, you better get your pen ready.

I will, I'll start dipping it now.

Right, anybody knows whether liquid yellow

1.7 or 200, please get in contact with this.

Listen to what Ben just said,

it's got all of those, let me know.

January the 1st then sell it January the 2nd,

just so you can get the apology,

no clauses in there about length of.

Also, if any of you just have one,

I can just have it on the V5 for a while.

I'll pay like 20 quid.

Everyone wondering why Ben is being so

specific, it can be in our last 10 seconds later.

Okay, so we can really mess him up by doing this.

It's gonna be a reason for it.

It's gonna be a reason for it.

Okay.

I like that.

I'll take that deal.

There's three ones of the week.

We will see if any of them come to fruition.

Thanks for listening to this traffic-heavy

episode of the Cars Rule Everything Around Me podcast.

We'll be back in

our home next week.

Maybe.

Maybe with news of a car of purchased.

If we ever, if we ever make it,

we may not make it to the airport in time.

Oh well.

Goodbye, see you.

Goodbye.

Cream it.

Cream it.

Cars, ruling

everything.

We're in France.

No way.
