0:00 Golf Blown Up

The Golf blew up today.

I want to let everyone know that we

got to MRC this morning at 8 o'clock and it

is now 5

o'clock and we haven't stopped.

We asked ourselves if cars have ruined or

ruled our lives

this week.

So, we are

filling this on Wednesday right now.

It is

coming here on Sunday.

So, hopefully by the time you see us,

I would have driven it.

I would have been driving it.

You've already modified it.

Do you?

Yes.

Have I?

Where was it today?

Oh, it went for June today.

Now, because it has exhaust and it wasn't running right.

Don't spoil the numbers.

Why did it get tuned to the exhaust?

Because it has a rough market manifold on it.

I believe doesn't have a cutting.

Proteous, you are criminal.

Usually, you ask, you answer the question.

That's your car.

Yeah.

Also, it shows how sad Will and I are.

Ben said, my car got tuned.

What's your guess on power?

I said a number.

Ben went there.

That's exactly the number.

To the decimal point, the number.

And then, we'll get back a few minutes later.

My car's been tuned.

When I found it, mate, we'll set the exact same number.

There is none of that whole,

like, guys, what do you think?

And they go, oh, is it this?

And you go, no, it's this.

You just say, guys, what are they doing?

They go this.

And I went, well, yeah, it did.

Yeah, pouring.

So yeah, it went off for tuning.

It will be hopefully coming here on Sunday.

I think I just said that.

And I'm very, very excited.

I'm excited for some noise.

I'm excited to be going the speed limit.

Yeah.

Probably slightly less than it for us.

You can't do national speed limit everywhere,

then.

Not for a 30.

I can down country lanes, for some reason.

A 30.

Okay.

No, not down there.

And, yeah, obviously, country lane is fine.

Getting boys.

I know I said, for ages, I was looking

forward to having a break from having a fun

car, but another green trip just brought a back.

The fire is in me.

Okay.

I want to buy bits.

This isn't a bet I'm willing to make.

There is no medieval time frame.

I'm willing to put on this.

Yes.

But I just want to know when it becomes ruined.

Yeah.

And then what minor-- I give it two weeks.

Inconvenience.

I think two weeks.

Two weeks from delivery date.

So that's podcast.

I think it's going to be podcast 95.

Let me ask something.

I think this has to be from the clear,

not from the golf.

Correct.

No, no, yeah.

Okay.

From when you get that car, which will be nice.

three.

So I'm saying day one.

So you're saying by 94 podcast.

Yeah.

By the time you've had this podcast,

Ben will see something on the clear.

That is perfectly fine.

Yeah.

He will stare at it, stare through it,

stare just past it.

And a fire will be lit.

A fire will be put out, in fact,

inside his heart.

And he'll be on the watch once more.

For example, what if I thought it was crash damaged?

Ben, what a great segue that you've just given.

Which it has been twice.

Twice.

to this week's sponsor, Carvertical.

Shout out to the guys at Carvertical for

sponsoring the podcast.

As always, we always say, run a Carvertical check.

You don't know what history a car is hiding.

Carvertical helps you turn those unturned stones.

And we've run them on basically everything

we've ever owned.

Luckily, Will did run that on Matt Clio

3:48 Carvertical Sponsorship

before you bought it, before he bought it.

Sorry, even.

Am I correct in saying it has one of the

lowest Carvertical scores I've ever seen?

It's in the 30s, 37.

The guy I bought it from sent it to me,

the breaker, and said, do you want this?

I said, yes, send me that.

And he said, run a cover article on it first,

then tell me you want it, around the cover article.

And it said it'd been written off twice.

Not just crashed twice, written off.

Also, you went, oh, that's actually bad.

And then maybe 10 minutes later said,

I'll text him and say, I want it.

I see it was a bloody bargain.

Also, it's yellow.

And it's yellow, exactly.

So if you find the yellow car that you want,

make sure that you're on a cover to check and

use our code, cream for 20% off,

bundle a load of them together,

get 50% off, shell out the cover.

The gang, as always.

Lovely, what a fantastic segue.

That was good.

Good job, Benjamin.

Complete unplanned.

Commercial Benjamin.

You get a little bonus on that one,

Ben.

Do I?

No, I didn't think so.

Can I get a bonus on zero?

What's zero times zero?

Anyone else with any rules or runs?

Usually it's the person that finishes and

goes to the next one.

For me, I'm a rule.

Because that's exciting.

You're a person genuinely every day waking up

with a little bit of that, that,

that, that.

What do you call it?

Spice as that.

You know this, you think you're stomach?

If you've got butterflies.

But exciting, you've got butterflies.

I think, I think Ben's got butterflies in the

stomach always.

I had a dream about it.

You shouldn't be eating them.

I had a dream about the clear.

Do you have a spoon?

I was just driving it.

No, so can we, let's not brush over.

Yeah.

Yeah.

That's normal.

Yeah.

If you're a new listener, this is actually.

Ben has just announced something that I did

quite simply shouldn't exist.

I rarely have them, but I have to.

No, not what you said.

Ben wants claim to us that he has never dreamt.

I didn't know.

He said, I don't dream.

I said, I do not dream.

But what I said, have you ever,

you said, I don't know.

I have never.

No, I said, I have dreamt in the past,

but I...

Everyone's had a memorable dream.

Yeah, but I very rarely dream.

That's my first dream for a long time.

Okay, well, tell me about your dream.

My dream was this one that you can suddenly remember.

Well, no, this one I've been remembering for

days because I was excited.

I woke up almost with a nervous anxiety,

but excited.

If it, imagine if that was excited.

Okay, sure.

Isn't that excitement?

I just call out the usual excitement.

There are some psychologists that would have

a field in my brain.

The dream was I was driving it.

And this is impractical, but it was around Mont Blanc.

Okay.

But is this a merging of your dream to drive

a V12 vintage through the mountains in a suit?

Yes.

What were you wearing?

I don't know.

Can you ask?

There are some odd side characters in it,

which explain the side characters.

No, because it is weird.

All right.

Just say that the side dream.

It's been very hot reset.

I think I was sleeping quite a bit.

Dreams.

Dreams are never interesting to explain.

But all I want is I just want to know the

tagline of the dream, like the title.

This is going to sound like bullshit.

Come on, come on.

No, no.

Come up with the movie title of the dream.

Okay.

A one sentence tagline.

And then give me the characters that were in it.

Don't beat round the bush either.

No more Boris Johnson from you,

please.

Okay.

It will be called "Benjamin Rogers in the Yellow Drive".

Lovely.

It's the car, isn't it?

Yeah.

And then a little Evo video.

I would basically drive from Mont Blanc,

but it was snowing.

Sure.

But I was just hitting corners at space.

Okay.

It sounds like bollocks.

I looked over and there was Donald Trump as a

baby with Samapastasi.

Okay.

I was absolutely.

Yeah.

I always look at me and he was just doing the

gesticulation thing.

Now I was, I was baffled.

Baby seat on a baby seat.

Just San seat.

No seat belt.

You were an unsafe driver.

You should never take a baby out of that.

I didn't know he was there.

Can I just say, how did you know like babies

all look the same?

Yeah.

No, no, it was just, it was his face.

Your hair was actually hanging on.

7:28 Dream Characters and Mont Blanc Drive

Right.

He was sleeping to dream.

So you should be looking off.

I was having my girlfriend.

She was, she, she just stared at me with

this, with this confusion as if to not

understand what I meant.

But you said there were other side characters.

Oh, I meant character.

Okay.

Right.

Just, just you and big DJ.

I don't know why he was there and it really

baffled me and that's when I woke up and I

remember waking up quite disoriented by that

because she would be.

I don't know that you want to tell us about

the other characters.

No, it doesn't want to have just Austrian fella.

His painting.

But the most important part is that the clear

was in the dream.

I like that.

That's what you took away from that.

Very interesting.

We will, we will monitor your dreams next week.

Well, I wouldn't have any, so I will record

it next time.

Just make sure you don't start a dream

journal for us,

please.

Thank you.

Yeah, I will.

Well, surely the guy behind us.

Yeah, that is.

But today has been tough today.

Today, the video will be out by now.

Video will be out.

Yeah, we're working on a real tight and around folks.

The golf blew up today.

And unfortunately for us, it wasn't Ben's.

No, the golf...

The golf?

Oh, I won't spoil too much.

I won't go into too many details.

It's worth watching it happen.

But you don't know that.

You can't just go spoiling shit.

Yeah, okay.

Yeah.

But the golf, the golf, the golf blurb today,

it was all looking very positive.

We put lots of mods and lots of money and

time into that car.

And it went on the dyno and it said,

I think I'll ship my pants, actually.

It actually did.

Yeah, it really did that.

It walked into my dad's room and said,

I have shipped my pants.

My pants.

But also, we're mum and dad,

the three of us somehow.

We had him on a treadmill?

Yeah.

And then he'd tell me shit.

But then we watched him shit his pants.

Yeah.

So he didn't walk in the room.

We'd get feeding him banaise and tell me shit his pants.

His podcast is off to a bad spot.

I want to let everyone know that we got to

MRC this morning at eight o'clock and it is

now five o'clock.

We haven't stopped.

And there's been some, there's like,

Fro Described a Workday.

No, I'm saying.

I've been up since nine a.m.

But I'm saying that there's been,

there's been a lot of going on stage and we

did a lot of driving and it might be a delirious.

It might be a delirious.

Fair play to MRC though.

Yes.

Like an actual shout out to them because

every time we have been there,

there has been an issue of, actually there's

been once, we took the RS6 recently,

which you hopefully should see in a video.

Because I wasn't there soon.

On Monday, coming out on Monday.

On Monday, coming Monday, next to Monday,

you will see this.

There weren't any, no, there wasn't an issue.

Sorry, that's not true.

Jeff remembered there wasn't an issue.

There was an issue, which means it's not just a tune.

Someone has to move a car out of the

workshop, which means a customer's probably

not getting their car back ever,

but at least we're making a YouTube video.

But they're very, very accommodating.

And there's lots of dog staring off into the distance.

That's why he let us in.

That's good dog, good MRC dog,

not evil dog, not shoeless dog.

Oh, no, dog, dog privacy, where's shoes?

I've only ever seen them in shoes.

Not bad take shoeless dog.

But they let you say it was after everything happens.

And not, won't spoil it.

But they said same day, let's get it on the ram boys.

If they're now, as we speak,

don't.

Is it?

We're spoiling it.

Who knows if it's broken or not?

Exactly, not me.

So on a kind of channel car thing,

actually our biggest ruin yet,

yeah.

We haven't had a failure like that.

I'm not sure.

I'm quite surprised we haven't had something.

Now it does come in threes.

So I'm wondering if, way off.

You're about to crack.

I was scared.

What was your nickname?

When you, you know, what's growing up?

No, not when you're growing up.

And you know, it was a couple years ago.

No, don't worry about it.

I thought it was similar.

So yeah, I'm hoping we won't get anything

bigger than that.

Cause a turbo shit, like, I mean,

you spoil it.

I mean, a turbo spooled it up on the dyno.

It's so exciting to hear.

Saved it.

Nice.

Nice.

Spooling.

Spooling.

So what you saying overall?

When positive, but.

Positive personal cars, I would say rule

because mostly I go, I think it's a week now.

I've been dailying that.

I think I've done.

I have been on that daily thing.

We'll turn up to MRC this morning,

everyday.

I'm on a work shoot, just dailying it.

I haven't, the Alfa's been here and the

Mégane has no seats

11:39 Murci Daily Driver Discussion

attached.

It begs the question to me.

Why are you doing this?

Because the car needs to be used.

Okay.

And the summer is out.

But does it not make you not enjoy it?

Because you're just doing like the aero stuff.

No, no, no.

My intention is not to daily it every single

day for the rest of my life.

No, I just mean that the minute like you're

just driving on your commute,

where it's like on the weekend,

you might go, And that's the plan.

But because I want to earn it long term,

I need to know what's wrong with that car.

So I'm finding out it's foibles.

Whereas if I decide to go, I'll use it once

one weekend in every month or only at the weekends.

I've only got custody on weekends.

Then I won't know what's wrong with it.

I've got custody always.

And then when you get to the weekend,

you go, I want to take it out.

And there's something wrong with it.

You get, oh.

Whereas now I'm finding out what's wrong with it.

Because the car hasn't driven in five years.

So I need to know what's, I need to be used

to find out what's wrong with it.

And then we go from there.

By now.

London on the weekend, there was a show,

and you'll bring the, I'm hoping to bring it there.

I think I will be bringing the TVR.

We'll bring TVR M3, we'll say.

TDC pulling up, TDC pulling up.

And Ben's pulling up in, oh wait,

he's not being paid, so he won't be there.

Yep, no.

We had also been offered as well.

Deny it, deny it.

Well, those two things remain to be true.

I will not be there, and I'm not being paid,

but there's not a reason I'm not that.

And also, what these guys decided,

I just can't be there.

What's arriving on the same day?

Well, the Clio is arriving that afternoon.

So he said, you could come with us to the

show, you know, we'll drive us there.

Yeah.

So would you could enjoy your Clio and drive it?

And he said, once again, was I being paid?

And we said, well, no.

I'm not that money hungry, then it wasn't me.

Then he made this up.

I literally just, I'm just,

Well, look, Barbados isn't going to pay for itself.

As in the island, you're buying,

you're buying the whole--

He's nice, though.

He's just bought this Clio, so I unseen,

just wired money, even wired,

what'd you call it?

Bank transfer.

Yeah, not over the bank transfer.

I can't remember what it's called.

There's a very fancy bank transfer.

You put the one in escrow, and you sent it

paid for it,

so.

Oh, bloody hell.

See, this is how the rich live,

they don't pay for anything.

This is how the rich stay rich.

So, overall, it's a rule.

Overall, I'm going to

take the alpha home, though,

so we'll see what last line.

I'm going to say the same.

I had something, and I've forgotten it now,

and that's exactly what it is at the end of the day.

I think it's a rule for me.

Today was a rule.

Today was tough.

Today was not good.

Oh, that was it.

I, you both know, but I'm not going to say

anything yet, but I've been off of the car,

and I know I said I'm not going to buy you

cars until a range of a classic,

or I said other than a range of a classic,

or a Ferrari 550.

But I got off of the car.

Oh, well, this car.

Well, this car.

But this car is cool.

We'll talk about it in a podcast.

You have to admit, Ben, you're getting all--

You won't guess it.

What?

I said they won't guess it.

I've talked about it on the podcast.

Also, the person that offered it to me is a

creamer, and he knew, because I had said on

the podcast, I very much wanted to guess.

I guess it, it's quite old.

It's not silly, it's not like a Carlton or

anything, but I've always wanted one.

Yeah, flipper.

You know what?

We'll talk about that quickly.

We found an old Ninky Nunk.

Ben, why are you laughing?

'Cause it's funny.

I find this whole story quite funny.

Look, a car, an old car, it's an old microcar

from the '80s, called the Sea Ab Flipper.

There's a Jalopnik video on it,

I've been driving it, and it's very funny.

The engine is connected to the,

steering wheel.

So to turn around, you turn the steering

wheel five times, so it flips the engine

backwards, and then you just drive backwards.

It's like a, what do you call,

is it, what are those?

Bomba cars.

Yeah, like bomba cars.

So I bid on it, 'cause we wanted it.

Ben's looking confused.

What?

Let's engage the brain.

You turn the steering wheel into the engine

and it flips round, so the engine and the wheels.

Imagine you're going forwards.

Right.

Now imagine you're still going forwards,

but the engine was facing the other way.

Which way are you going forwards backwards?

You're going backwards.

No, so with that shot, the two front wheels

spinning round.

That's the engine attached on top.

I have the engine on it.

So the engine is always driving the wheels forward.

So we thought this is Ninky Nunk old.

This is Grand Bad Ninky Nunk.

More advanced as well.

Yeah, we have to try and make this happen.

So we bid and we won the bid.

We had the highest bid and it didn't sell.

There was a reserve on the car.

So I started sending a message to the seller

and said, "Look, what will it take to make

Grand Bad Ninky Nunk ours?"

And they said, "I know what you've got and I

want what you've got.

So how

about we make a deal?"

And we've been going back for the

board for weeks.

I've been beating the price down as much

as possible.

And I think we're on the final straight.

So you might see old-timey Ninky Nunk soon.

Well, me and Mo are laughing about though,

is the fact that the price is up for is like,

we're buying it for the channel.

So it's not in terms of like compared to like

with the golf and stuff.

It's not a huge amount of money.

But Edwin, has decided.

It's crazy.

This is what I mean.

But I'm trying to keep these lights on every 10 accounts.

And Ben's like, just spend all of it.

What I'm saying is it's one of the cheaper

cars we bought recently.

So we could just go, you know what,

for the video, let's give it what she wants

for it.

No.

No.

But Edwin is taking as if it's like his

personal purchase.

Maybe this is my personal purchase.

Maybe it's my C.A.B.

This is the car you were teaching.

I've said too much.

I'm a stop.

I should not have said that.

I'm taking it on board to be like,

"Right, I'm getting this for a good price."

Look, there's the market for people who want

an old-timey ninking onk is very,

I'd say, three people.

And I think they're in this room and no one wants them.

So it's us or nothing.

We're making a deal or we're not.

So we'll see what happens.

We're the only people who will do it justice.

Exactly.

So if you're out there, just know that we need that.

We want to drive it through a practical underpass.

Allegedly.

We want statute limitations that doesn't apply it.

It'd be tough.

We wish to drive it backwards down the M4.

Well, the other thing, nobody's ever worked

out the top speed of it.

I'll leave you at that.

There is no official top speed for car.

It's also in these three commissioning.

Yeah, I haven't been driven since the 80s.

No one likes buying it.

No.

It's only, do you want, it actually only

makes sense for us.

No one else it makes sense for,

because we have a YouTube channel and we can

make silly content with it.

We're the target demographic.

So I'm going to say Rule overall,

because I'm excited about the idea of this

car, so we'll see what happens.

Always excited about the idea.

So we move on to things.

Let's move on to things.

Things.

No.

I've got a special something,

but we've got to do one or two things first.

Okay.

Let's try and get it in the middle.

We've only got an hour tonight,

because there is a football on.

I want us to watch it.

I do, I do, I do.

Well, one form does the podcast.

Well the next podcast could be sad.

Even if we start at the podcast at 6.30 p.m.

he'll be leaving at 7.

Yeah.

So we, we managed to get an hour in.

Share that.

Edwin, you've put in here, right hand drive C8.

I saw that.

Like a RS6, you don't get those.

Yeah, thanks Ben.

But I saw my first right hand drive Corvette

in the UK.

That's not true.

We saw on the other day.

What's that then?

We were going to, where are we going?

We were on the M25 and we saw one.

'Cause you laughed like a man.

You said that's cool.

It was a C8, it's round drive C8 and you said

that's the most C8 Corvette owner I've seen.

In the same car, was that me you're thinking of?

Yeah, where are we going on the M25?

I think it was when we were going to look at the Fiesta.

I remember it being left hand drive.

I'm fairly sure it was left hand drive.

Was there was a man come with a community on the phone?

Yes, no, that was left hand drive car.

I remember that now.

Why was there when UK plates there?

Right, aren't you going to make it?

There is a, I've got a crazy concert.

They say it here though.

Sometimes people will take a car from another

country and bring it here.

In fact, Volkswagen made a loophole called the 3L.

I know that.

And it's in left hand drive only.

Why would you buy a left hand drive car

they're making right hand drive?

Because they didn't make them in right hand

drive until recently.

And maybe there are certain models or maybe

certain things.

Maybe he was desperate too.

Maybe he needed it now.

So,

Sausage.

So I was driving to go, oh, that was it.

I was going to say that was part of my ruin-ish.

My girlfriend decided after driving my E36,

that's what she wants now.

She wants an E36, but she wants a Boston

green convertible.

That's all she wants.

Found one on Facebook, looked potentially

good, but it needs work.

Went to go drive it.

It died on the drive.

The car died on the drive.

I went to look at it.

Car looked really clean.

Super nicer on the outside.

Also did run a car vertical and it looked fine.

Shout out to Car Vertical.

Open the oil cap.

You know when a car hasn't had an oil change

in like 30 K miles.

So you see those photos of they've taken the,

what do we call an EK, a rocket cover?

We call it a rocker.

And it's just, it's not sludge,

it's hardened goop.

It was that when I took the cap off and I

looked at it and I was like,

no, that's rough.

That's not good.

All right, I'm already a bit on this phone,

on the fence for the car.

But I said, you can go drive it,

drive it down the road.

And I kind of planted it and it just went good.

And like fell on its face and then went a little bit.

I was like, that's weird.

I would have turned around and go back.

As I pulled into his drive, the car just went

with the, and turned off.

And it rolled into, it rolled up to him like a movie.

He literally like a movie.

And then he looked down and he went,

did you do that?

I went, no, no, that wasn't me.

He went, I'll be fine.

It leaned in, turned the key and it just was cranking.

And he was just kind of looking off to the right.

And as it kept cranking, he just slowly

turned and just looked at me.

I went, I think we're going to give this one

a miss, if I'm nice.

So that was not great.

We should have bought it for the channel.

And then we should have diagnosed what was

wrong with it.

I could, look, I did tend to,

you know what, I kind of regretted,

because I went there with the trailer as well.

But I didn't want to deal with a car that

needed brake lines.

It is suspension, needed brakes and it needed an engine.

engine.

And the soft top roof didn't work.

And the front, and the lights didn't work.

How was the body?

The body was good.

Okay, so it wasn't good.

So what it was like was a rolling,

no, that way didn't like shifting.

So what it was was a rolling shell.

Which, well, I could be rolling.

It just come to a halt.

So that wasn't so good.

But it was on the way there that I saw a

right hand drive, C8.

Crazy things to see.

It was wrong.

What?

For it to not?

C8 to me is not call that.

It doesn't exist.

And when you put it in right hand drive,

even worse.

I'm excited to, I think we've said this already.

22:00 C8 Corvette Right Hand Drive

It starts seeing engines out there.

Just in general.

People in the early 1900s.

I used to see these new engines.

These things are crazy.

Yeah, I'm not tradeable.

What do you mean?

Crashed ones.

Being able to take the engine out.

Think about what happened with LSs 20 years ago.

The LT, something like LT5.

What will people put them in here though?

We don't have the...

This is what I mean.

People put every LSs in everything.

There's less here.

I guess maybe if it's a more available,

I guess.

I was thinking an LT5 or something in an

eight series or something.

Cool.

Stupid, but cool.

Platt, platt, platt, platt, platt,

flam, flam, flam, flam, flam,

flam, flam.

That's what he's called.

So that's just a random anecdote.

And Ben doesn't believe me.

Tour car.

And I didn't believe it.

I saw a car.

And you...

Hey, listen, I have a fax.

Can't be.

And you don't have the...

Can't be.

That's a drive.

It won't be, but it's not possible.

Not possible.

Is it not possible, Ben?

I didn't say it was impossible.

I actually asked the question.

No, you didn't.

I think you were quite authoritative.

Why is it in left hand?

I don't care.

Let's move on to an important subject.

Denza.

Denza Goodwood has come and been.

We didn't go.

We should admit that.

We didn't go.

I think

we did.

I think we...

Yeah, I think we did.

We didn't go.

We could have gone.

We possibly could have gone.

We've preserved our journalistic integrity.

We have.

Brackets.

We are sellable to the highest bid.

But nonetheless, we have destroyed Denza.

Yes.

Outside.

This is...

I got a message from a man, and I don't know his name.

I'm going to recite his story from the top of my dome.

Okay.

He basically said he was a good word,

and he went up to the stand and told him,

told the chap on the stand, who he said was

very, very friendly, that he was a creamer.

He then said that he was the 20th person to

say that today.

So they have been...

I have heard this.

Okay.

So there's just been people going up to the

Denza stand, that is a good word.

I also heard saying I am a creamer.

Did he not also ask Daniel Craig?

I mean, that was the initial question.

Where's Daniel Craig?

Then told him he was a creamer.

Oh, sorry.

He said, where's Daniel Craig?

And the guy on the stand said,

are you a creamer?

Or I'm guessing you're a creamer or words to that.

And then obviously then the guy was like,

yeah, yeah.

Well, you're the millionth person who said that today.

But high level reconnaissance and research

and development from the creamers,

nothing too annoying.

Yeah, remember, you made yourself in sales known.

Keep it clean.

Keep it on the low.

There were no models of cocktails or looting

or anything ridiculous like that.

It's just good old friendly banter.

You know what that is?

That's good old fashioned japoury.

We love to see that.

I also heard, I haven't, I have many

messages, but I can find it.

But apparently on the Goodwood live stream,

when the thens went up the hill,

the comments were just cream comments.

So I'm hoping I should be going,

cream was taken over the comments of the

Goodwood live stream.

And when the thens went up the hill,

it was just creamers.

out.

And I've never seen anything like it.

It should also be right today.

Now I'll select a second collecting cause

video should be going out.

I think so.

Yeah, it should be next Thursday.

So that's correct.

That's correct.

It should be yes.

So we have, yeah, that's with Nick sings Hota.

And then we, by then we'll have also filmed

our next one as well.

Because I was just going to say,

shout out, I think we already said it on the

last one, but shout out to the creamers for,

for infiltrating the comments on that one.

Nice to see you.

And to see you guys as well.

You really are.

You seem to just go on a video that we're on

and then click on any of the,

any of the suggested videos,

car related or not and go.

Creamer.

Creamer.

Well, Ben's not here, is it?

So I don't care.

Barbados, Rogers.

Strikes again.

No, no, ever collecting cars going.

What are you talking about?

Why do we have its people?

We were told there was some confusion in the office.

They saw some of the comments rolling in.

They said, what does that mean?

This is a video about a very cool car collection.

It's actually somewhat serious in form.

And the comments are, Ben is not on the beach.

Ben Barbados, Ben, my name is William,

all that kind of stuff.

You mess

with the bull, you get the horns.

It's exactly what it is at the end of the day.

You get the cream.

Oh, no.

Don't do that, don't mess with the bulls.

Ben!

Oh, girl.

It was loud, Dick.

You're going to have to meet with that one down.

Ben, the Grand Tour is back on September 4th,

you say.

The Grand Tour is back on September 4th.

Now, expand on that if you could.

They've announced it.

Back on September 4th, that's what everyone knows.

Sorry, who's paying you?

Why is that?

I wasn't paying you.

Which was interesting.

Where is it?

Back on September 4th.

And what is it?

The Grand Tour.

Bloody hell, didn't it.

And who's going to be on that?

People from the Throttle House and Francis Bourgeois.

Why did you say that?

That was a foreign question for me to ask.

I thought I would have knew that.

Yeah, it's back.

I thought it would be interesting.

I would like to watch it.

I'm extremely excited too as well.

We've been speculating whether they,

because obviously announced it,

we speculated for a while off a camera.

They've shot a series yet.

Do we think that maybe it's coming in the

next four years?

Do you know what?

Turns out, here it is.

I'm interested to see how they always managed

to keep a lot of stuff on the cover.

Like there is early 2000s top gear,

it was a bit easier.

Not everyone had 4K phones in their pockets

that you could upload.

You could upload to Instagram in a second.

Like if Clarkson goes past you in a 17 foot

Citroen camper, that's on Instagram by the hours ahead.

But I haven't seen anything yet.

So are they filming mainly at the track?

Are they not gone out as far yet?

Underground.

I think it would be surely it would be worse

if they were local because surely

predominantly it's going to be like American

audience and English audience who know of these people.

True.

I think you could like Burma again.

They probably don't know about the Grand Tour.

But even then I've been to Burma.

Exactly.

But I know about the news of Francis

Bourgeois coming onto the ground.

We caught on the tail of Francis Bourgeois.

You don't know that.

You call it Bourgeois.

It's the Bourgeoisie.

What is the name?

There is an R in there.

So go either way.

Either way, I think that it would still get captured.

Having three probably modified,

brightly colored, something,

something, cars are probably going to get a

photo at least.

I haven't seen anything.

Or they're going around with an armed guard.

Now you post that.

I will shoot your face off.

Do we think it'll be studio based?

Oh, it does say.

The little teaser poster says,

now I don't know if this is accurate.

I'm just thinking of it.

I think it's the same show, new knobs.

Yes.

Something like that.

And their head is a gear knob.

So that to me is saying that the show is

basically the same.

Exactly.

And they're on new knobs.

But at the end of the other round tour,

it was just specials.

That's true.

So are they going that way?

Or are they going this way?

The tent is now on Clarkson's farm.

I think it has another one, though.

Does he?

Yeah, his tent is on.

And that's the only tent they only ever made.

Two tents.

But just in the world, you can't make him

have a tent.

But I feel like you would, if you would,

they might do it out of a house.

I would change that personally.

Or an aircraft hanger.

That's a novel idea.

Or maybe next to a track.

I'm interested to see.

I want to know what the format is.

I want to know, I want to know things about it.

But there's a long way to wait.

It feels like we should know we should be on

the inner sanctum and know this sort of stuff.

We don't, we're not privy.

We just have, we have people in comments that

go, they don't let this sort of us in the inside.

They saw that and go, mm-hmm,

mm-hmm.

Not for us, thank you.

I like to see a trailer.

Well, you got one just outside.

I told you yesterday.

To be fair.

I want to see a trailer of it.

I want to see what the vibe is.

What do you want to see?

I would like to see, you know what?

I do want you to hear stuff.

Predict, predict me one segment on the YouTube talk.

I don't know that, but I'll put it in an episode.

Okay.

I asked a segment and you went,

I don't know that.

I'll go bigger.

I'll do the whole episode.

I'll get you the whole script.

I think it will be, head says it will be just

specials, but my heart says it will probably

be the studio, basically.

I think it will be studio.

But then my question then is...

Okay.

Politician, Ben, once more.

I've asked the question you've gone.

Yeah, that's a good point.

I'll give you a full episode.

But let me ask you this question instead.

All right, fine.

No, my question is then, if it had a studio,

where's the audience?

Surely somebody would...

I'm here and you're there.

Surely someone would have said...

Someone would have said like,

yeah, I'd be in the audience of this.

So maybe it is just maybe they've gone.

It's an NDA.

Well, that never stops everyone.

Okay.

Not everyone, no, it doesn't.

What maybe it does?

How do you know they haven't been leaked,

and we just haven't heard them?

Do we think our ears are this kind to the ground?

I think anyone that's tried to talk,

assassinated.

Gone.

By Francis Bourgeois.

No, I think he's probably not doing the dirty work.

I reckon someone at Amazon, they'd probably

just like sending, you know,

packages to their house that are getting them

investigation parcels.

Amazon parcels.

You get Amazon parcels when you go,

oh hell, I didn't know to this,

but I have just been to see the Grand Tour.

Bang.

Bang.

My episode, I think he'll be like classic Top Gear.

Oh, you're on the Grand Tour.

Classic Top Gear, I think I'll be like an

intro car test.

I'd say there's an intro.

I'm going to punch you.

They'll be an intro.

There's no intro.

This is

the new version of 11.

That would be an intro though.

It

would have to be halfway through the review.

It would have to cut to just like the screen

boots up and he goes, and it handles fantastically.

It's going to be your classic sort of intro

music with a boom in the studio.

Francis Bourgeois is there.

The other two are not.

No, because they're going to be in the first film.

I thought you were going to say they're going

to be in the audience.

They're going to walk out the audience and

then it's going to go to a little car test.

They're half through the car test.

What's the car?

It's going to be

electric versus the petrol equivalent.

What though?

can Turbo S thing, Turbo GT versus a 911?

Sure.

A new GT3 and then they do that and it goes

to an institute, perhaps a news.

They've stolen from the TVC,

from the group podcast.

This going to be a bastard.

Then it's going to go from that

to the main film of the show.

No, no, no, before.

I don't

know.

Kind of the meat and potatoes of the whole.

That'll wrap up.

Sorry, they'll cut away from that.

What's

happening in that main segment?

You can't just gloss over that.

Just call it, we'll have the main segment.

Okay, actually.

Yeah, and there'll be a main section where

there'll

probably be some sort of challenge.

I don't know what that

is.

I wasn't right.

Give me a quick idea.

Give me a quick

vibe.

If I knew that, I would work for them,

wouldn't I?

Well, not necessarily.

Probably quite a few steps.

You came to us and said, I think I know

exactly how this is going to go down.

I'll do it.

I'm going to give you a full rundown of an episode.

Here it is.

And you went, what do you think it's going to do,

guys?

I didn't say I knew what it was going to be.

I want one more thing from your guests,

because so far, creatively, this has been

very, very poor.

What's the main set?

What's the challenge?

What are they doing?

All three of the boys together.

What are they doing?

Okay.

They're going to be in a foreign land.

Sure.

I'm going to say it's going to be somewhere in Africa.

Sure.

And I'm going to tell you why,

because no one knows they are there.

Okay.

And also because it's a different environment.

It's got more harsh terrain.

And they're going to be in for the first

episode, fast off-roaders.

What?

Okay.

What does that mean?

Is it in your budget?

The budget is Amazon, so it's big.

Okay.

The cheap half a million pounds.

No, it's going to be like a range of a sport,

SVR, which look like a, like a,

I think kind of a fast SUV.

But are these a Guaggen?

A Guaggen.

But hang on.

What kind of test is this?

Because we're not talking about brand new cars.

We're talking about slightly used cars.

They're going to cross use.

expensive four by fours.

They're going to cross Africa,

cross it, cross.

I was owed one, we're crossing it.

You know what?

Where the last one left.

Maybe they will start from where they chop

down the tree, the bow bow.

This is where they love.

Let's kill it.

I'd really hate that.

Would you?

I'd really hate that.

Perhaps the other three would be there and

they would hand a baton.

Yeah.

Because I had Doctor Who and they're like

regenerate and she's got a new guy in the same set.

They have to get back from that spot in

Africa, back to Dunsville.

To the top, not there.

Back to the bow, the drone.

I think it would be Clarkson's,

apparently it was on his house,

Land.

Well, there it is.

So he just back Clarkson's house.

He's just handed you the baton.

So then he's got to fly back and meet you.

He says, I'll see you in a bit.

Yeah.

So that, hey, Ben, you know what?

Maybe they'll take some notes for season two,

if that's not.

But the baton's got a C4 on it.

That was Anna Anna timer.

Okay.

What do you think is delivered to this audience?

Absolutely.

He is broken the NBA.

What do you think you'll be?

I think it'll just be cars and stuff.

Great.

Will, I think there will be new car reviews

because it's throttle house.

I think so.

And I can't help but think that that's their

cheese and spread.

Yeah.

And they always

35:10 Grand Tour Speculation and Format

please.

I'm Thomas.

I'm James.

Yes.

Precisely.

Can I say it properly?

I'm Thomas.

Yeah.

And I'm James.

No, that's not proper.

It's, it's, I'm Thomas.

And I'm James.

You have to do it properly.

There is that.

That is a, that is a tick mark of throttle house.

That's how you know.

But that's, that's their stuff.

That's their meat and cheese.

They, they do it.

in car reviews.

They know how to do that stuff.

So there's got to be some element of that in there.

Surely.

Now obviously the problem is it's,

it's kind of TV spec stuff.

So everyone's seen that.

Yeah.

Everyone's seen those cars.

Whatever they film, they're probably filmed

it a year ago,

six months ago, however long ago.

So that's when the shit

gets sticky.

What's the cut of Holy Trinity?

Uh, there isn't.

Well, there's W one of the people for W one F

80 and Porsche probably yet to come out with it.

I think that's, that's kind of the only two

you have of that are like comparable,

trying to think.

Do we have a Lamborghini that's in big cheese?

You can maybe go like Valkyrie.

Oh yeah.

GMA.

And they are not here on like a...

Mercedes.

It's all beyond...

Like an AMG one, Valkyrie and a T 50 of their

all their own big, big, big,

big, big, big, big one.

Hey, man, we'll see.

I'm excited to see either way.

I think it will be similar to the last one,

whether it'll be, it'll be big.

But I want to, I'm trying to think of like,

surely they would lean into the people they've got.

Francis Bull's was a bit of a nerd.

He, as we've seen from the SL.

stuff, he likes to put up mad,

modified stuff.

He gets very nerdy about things.

It would almost be a waste to not have him do more.

Agreed.

But then again, it's kind of mainstream.

I don't know.

But how's he reviewing cars?

That's my question.

Well, they usually start with a camera and

then he's got a microphone and then they'll

just kind of.

I know that.

I'm saying that like, how would he,

'cause we also, we know the other two.

Thomas and James also, how they are with reviewing.

But Francis, we haven't seen.

We want you on the podcast.

Yeah, we'll send some emails and you won't

reply and that's fine.

That's totally fine.

We'll have you on the podcast and you can

tell us what's happening.

And we need some more chairs.

And throttle house, please, you're more than

welcome to when you're back.

We just don't know where you are.

We saw them.

We saw you once.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Yeah.

At Drive Tribe Show.

I said, we sat next to them.

Yeah.

Ben, where were you?

Not being paid.

So wasn't there?

I wasn't there.

I actually wasn't there.

No, I think you were on another world of your

jet setting fleet.

You are.

I think you are.

I think you are.

I was.

I was.

I know I was.

There you go.

See, once again, the holiday around.

I was in the Mallorca.

Now I have, we're halfway through.

I have something, I have something important

because if you'd like, Will,

can you read what we've got in the,

I've put in

there, an important interlude,

an important interlude

because something came across my desk today.

You think

that the original is always the best,

but Ben, what arrived in my inbox,

but a message from Richard Porter with an attachment.

Hold on, I must pause.

If you're a new Lester, don't turn off.

This will take about three and a half minutes.

Will

explain afterwards.

Just sit back and enjoy.

I'll

skip the chorus the second and third

time.

I'm just being truck names.

I truck that literally was

recycled in truck, Patrovo.

No, that's my end.

Learn those.

Or a flat nose.

Over cab?

That's not learning.

No, yeah.

But cab over.

I don't like when I see a cab over lorry with

no back on it.

It feels like when you see a cab over lorry,

I see a dog that usually wears a collar,

no collar.

I think all lorry is about it in those stupid

American lorries.

All lorries are on job.

All lorries are the other dead business.

Lorries, lorries, lorries.

That's fantastically catchy that

bit.

No, it's great lorries.

Lorries.

We'll skip through we

are.

I love the streets.

I'll wait for it, Ben.

You'll like this part.

Hold on.

We're

going to go through the chorus again.

To this bit.

Ben,

just note that this is on the internet forever,

yeah?

I knew it would

be that.

I lose your think at the end.

I

can't

help but think there's an album.

We've got to get those streamed up.

Yeah, it's the thinking man's track at night.

I think this

could be, because there's a reference to

track at night in

there as well, which really brings the whole

thing full

circle.

Any good album though, clean then.

Any good album

has good features on it.

Exactly.

So we might have to say, which would be

fantastic as a feature on there.

But you want big headers on your album.

You don't just want one feature.

You want lots.

I think, well, what drive sales controversy,

Doug DeMiro, we need to bridge the beef,

squash it, something about shoes.

He needs a shoe type shoe related,

or is it, he's not featuring it to this track.

Now, this I like.

The Doug DeMiro diss track would go off.

We've said it before when Cee Laser,

shout out our guy Cee Laser,

who makes highlights of the cream podcast.

We were aware of Cee Laser's existence.

It felt like we would be trying to try and

get things in, which now I don't want,

it's tainted if we try and start making

things for Richard.

I think the beauty is in him finding it organically.

So we have to just let it go to a contract.

You can't manufacture that.

Exactly.

The part of the charm is that you can't

manufacture a talent, mate.

What does that mean then?

I don't know.

Oh, it felt a bit Instagram Carver Reviewer.

That's why.

Okay, sure.

Again, shout out to Richard Porter.

Thank you for listening in this listing along session.

Both Ben and Will have no idea of this.

I had an additional idea.

Richard sent it to my personal email.

Just, you know, Richard and I in the private DMs.

No, I think you did it for this reason,

so I could reveal it.

So, shout out.

Big, big stuff.

Bedwin.

That's me.

You were put in here.

Continental Super Sports hitting big skidders and CLA.

Now, we talked, Benjamin, I don't know if you know this.

We talked a few weeks ago about Bentley

bringing out a new Continental Super Sports.

That was actually quite a few weeks ago.

Sure.

The Super Sport was a thing that they brought

out in the early Continental one that had

2000s, one that had the gatie there on seat.

Oh, I know this.

There was then one in, I think the second gen.

I think it was the second gen one.

I feel like 2012/13 generation.

I'm looking at Will right now.

I'm waiting for him to confirm.

Well, Brandon's not working.

Either way, they've brought it back.

I couldn't know this because I happened to be

watching the Goodwood stream and it went up,

the new one, and it stops in the middle.

Also, whoever is driving it,

mad scatty, just swerving, blocking up the

brakes, all sorts of crazy stuff.

It's a little bit down that little,

like the back end with the contact with the wall.

Really?

Just going mad.

A little bit sturdy.

They were elbows, not with what you would be driving.

So many inputs.

That's good, isn't it?

Whoever is driving, he or she stops in the

middle of the track and does a burnout.

Now, Ben, tell me what issue is with that.

You're not really meant to.

Nice.

The Bentley Continental, since it came out

the bag one in the early 2000s,

is all-wheel drive.

They always have the...

The Supersports is the first real-wheel drive one.

They just brought out a real-wheel drive car.

Oh, cool.

Or is it all a drive that can switch to the rear?

When I've researched it, it just says first

real-wheel drive.

Wow.

First ever real drive car.

It's crazy.

I don't know how nobody's come up with this car.

You are the youngest person ever.

But that's kind of cool.

And then the...

It was a proper, but it was a burnout,

like real one.

Let me pull up for like a big dirty burnout.

It was a, it was a...

It was a little bit of an angle,

beautifully done.

It was, it was, he was, he was putting lock

on to try and stay straight as he was rolling down.

Really?

Really?

It was a 55-esque.

I liked it a lot.

Doesn't want to lift the full ones.

It's what...

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

It's staying on there for a couple of months.

A hardcore driver-focused evolution of the

Continental GT, dropping the traditional

all-wheel drive system and plug-in hybrid

setup for a pure rear-wheel drive chassis.

Hey?

It weighs under two tubs.

Now for Ben.

I think that's genuinely very cool.

Hang on.

Did I hear

that correctly?

There's no full drive, but no hybrid.

They've ditched the hybrid system altogether.

In fact, under two tons, this is the light,

the lightest Bentley in 85 years.

That's impressive.

That's kind of cool.

But a purely rear-wheel

46:51 Ferrari F80 Exhaust Update

drive.

Yeah.

And the engine is hoops.

Still uses air suspension, but the dump is a

new twin-chamber units.

Ride height is lower too.

The engine is the four-liter twin-turbo V8.

So that...

It sounded odd.

It sounded almost W12.

Yeah, it did.

657 horsepower, 590 pound foot.

You're mashing up red tires on that.

In fact, I've just opened a top gear article,

and the first photo is of a spent tire.

So that thing is...

Hell yeah.

Bentley.

Come on now.

That's pretty neat.

Give us a call.

We're only here.

We're in the same country.

We're countrymen.

That's you and us.

Where are they based?

We're England.

New England, they're UK-based.

And they want to work with influencers and

podcasters and musicians.

Well, we are.

We probably are that now.

The

other thing too.

The other thing is that I would like to know

now, I don't know anything about this,

Will, I think maybe you said you may know,

is we talked about the CLA45.

That appeared to also be on the live stream.

Also doing a burnout.

Yeah, because I think the...

63 that has the same running gear,

but it's assumed that is anyway,

the sort of hybridized four cylinder thing.

They were four drive.

Right.

But you can run it in rear.

That's cool.

For skidders.

I was saying this the other day that I think

I'm OK with all of this stuff,

if there is at least a real drive mode.

If you can go...

Disconnect this stuff, go have fun.

Let it all be all driver.

Yeah.

Fine.

That's cool with me.

Because also, then you've got the best of all the worlds.

Ben, Ben can drive it without pirouetting.

When will we get...

Drive the drive.

When will we drive?

Although the Revuelto did.

Yeah.

Because the Revuelto has motors on the front wheels.

If you run it in electric mode,

it's front will drive.

I had the handbrake on and I tried to pull off.

Yep.

Yep.

And it just spun the front wheels.

Crazy.

I was doing burnouts.

I'm not against Rule or Drive cars.

I don't know.

I think it's true.

I am now.

I think that's fairly true.

I think it could be decades.

But you asked for another.

When you asked for us to find your car,

you said, "It's just there can't be real drive."

Yeah, but for the ring, I didn't want to have

a road drive because I was scared I would kill everyone.

We'd all be lined up and you would just wipe us out.

I

think we need to send you to a school.

Why is that there?

Prep school, though.

Yeah.

Boarding the school for everyone.

Never to be seen again.

What to learn from a road drive?

To just learn it.

I think you need to gain a bit of confidence.

I think you need to get your stuff up.

I think you need to get your money up,

not your funny up.

I'd love to do that.

What we got next?

This is also good when related.

Again, after the Continental,

I forgot, I don't think I saw this until

after the last podcast, the F80 exhaust.

The Ferrari F80, which I think the first time

I saw it was at the last festival of speed.

And I remember being incredibly disappointed.

It was the F80 I saw.

Then two cars later was a Huaira R.

I know that's not a rodigal car,

but still, the golf in immersion and passion

and noise was ridiculous.

If you'd closed your eyes and had the Ferrari

F80 go off, you wouldn't have known it as a specialist.

It is.

I think that car looks cool.

It made a whoosh.

It just goes whoosh.

And it just, it sounds, when you say it was

like whip, whoosh sound effect four.

I used two.

I liked four.

It's a.

I used two.

Whereas two is a, I used a lot of metallic

scrape riser to Steven Bartlett.

Yeah, he uses that a lot.

Sorry, quick tangent.

Good.

But now there

is a sports exhaust option, which seems

mental to me.

Surely that should have just been on there

from the bloody start.

But as a sports exhaust option,

it's a sports exhaust option that they've put on there.

And it sounds great, doesn't it?

Yeah, I mean, it's still not like Enzo or a

40 or a 50 style, but it sounds noticeably better.

Now, I want to, I want to hear a tetra-author

on big smoke, pay in person.

And I've seen a load of videos of it.

The V8 one.

I want to hear what that sounds like when it's on.

But I think that'll still sound similar to it.

It'll be that 4.8.

Yeah, true.

F8, blah, blah, blah.

It'll be that kind of noise.

Yeah.

I've heard them get some high-pitched

aftermarket exhaust, that kind of almost 355

S kind of pitch noise out of them.

But that's with really big exhaust work.

Would you care for

a noise of the F8?

I'm in impact.

Oh, sure.

We can try it.

Yeah.

Sorry.

Get your fly by, hang on.

That first.

Crazy.

would be mistaken for every 12.

When it's idle, it kind of has that GTR kind of vibe.

But when it's going for it, I was like,

hang on a hello.

That's very much V12 noise.

So yes, much better from Ferrari.

Fair play Ferrari.

Listen, the fact that it's taken two years or

however long to get to that.

Crazy that they're listening to the podcast

and they went, all right, boys,

we'll do it.

All right, look, we're sorry about the dude shape.

Look, we got a set of spice.

Let me just finish.

Rich Porter's lorries and then I'll have a

now I want to hear just how loud it can be.

Because obviously that is still going to be,

it's still in the OEM systems.

It's going to have cats and- It is Ferrari,

so it might not.

Fair, well, it might fall out.

But that was like, not a straight pipe,

but like something pretty spicy.

I'm just surprised they didn't do that.

I know that they're probably not selling like

the people watching a good word aren't

necessarily the people buying it.

Although there will probably be some of them

there that you wouldn't go and launch your

angriest version, not angriest version,

but you're the best sounding version of it at good words.

So people go bloody out.

Yeah.

Because it's been done a few times.

Mark 2RS, right?

Mark 2RS, I was there that very day in Mount

Doom when there was a, I think it was a,

what?

I thought you said it was an ultimate green.

I think it was a white car anyway.

It was a Mark 2 Focus RS, but it sounded unbelievable.

And there was a whole, there were threads

about it on some of the RS owners websites

and groups and whatever else.

They were like, I know I have my car,

it doesn't sound like that at all.

I think the general consensus was is that

that had either a decal or something was

missing in the exhaust.

So they made it sound extra fruity.

And then the actual customer cars weren't,

you know, legally couldn't sound like that.

So they, so they weren't.

But yeah, you can understand why

53:14 Renault and Invitations to Events

they would do that.

Because if you are watching a cargo pass and

you go, yeah, that sounds unbelievable.

Put my name down for that.

After Goodwood is a thousand dollars for a acquirer.

Yeah, no, I'll have it.

No, I need that.

I'll take that.

I need that.

I do need that.

But yeah, no, much, much better for you.

Look, you've got three more customers here.

I have a birth with Renault.

Okay.

Now, at least you use that language.

Exactly.

I will need to speak a language that they

would understand.

Renault, we do Renault's, right?

On these channels, famously,

in these four eight walls that we have,

we have been doing Renault's.

And I think before us, not many were doing Renault's.

And we said, not new Renault's.

Yeah.

We're not, we're not passing cajars up on the

left and stuff.

Quick couch.

We've been doing, there's the,

there's my blue 182.

My two 182's from me.

Yeah.

Which has been since also been transferred to you.

So, that's the one that's three cars.

Yeah.

And then blue, green.

That's the one for me.

Green one again.

Megane as well.

I've had, I've got my silver one of my mates.

That would be on the channel.

So, I've talked about my dad's car.

That's also a Renault.

Another one for you.

Now me.

There's back.

Also that car.

So, yes.

So there's been, we're just smashing out Renault's.

And yet, did we get, did we get,

did we get him in a peep?

Was there even a golden letter post?

So, we're saying there was lots of other people.

There's lots of other people there.

There's lots of other people there with

invites going up the hill.

Going up the hill.

In Renault's.

Wow.

I just think we need our flowers.

Now we did, we did speculate that that might

be because we spent an hour also making fun

of Renault's AI when we drove the Renault.

There was.

Yeah, but also, it was also an electric car

that we all genuinely liked.

True.

Ben, tell me, what's the difference to the

bald man and a bean?

I don't know what it said to that.

One is a delicious snack of some sort.

I think is what it was.

And the other one is a bean.

It's Renault.

This is why we're not inviting you.

So, I mean, to be fair, I didn't really hear

back from them after that.

But anyway, I'd just like to put it out there

that Renault, we are here and we do like

Renault very, very much more than anyone else would say.

I think so.

And we'll bring our runners.

We will bring our, and maybe that's what they

don't care about.

We'll end it.

We'll endeavour to try.

I mean, mine might be on fire by the time it gets there.

But hey, give it bloody give it a go.

Mine doesn't have seats built into the floor.

Mine for a full time.

Let them, this is why.

But yeah, Renault, if you're listening,

watch your back.

Slick with one eye open.

Not a threat, please, we want to do that.

We do like you actually.

Because it was the widebody thing.

I know it's electric, but it looks cool.

Oh, yeah, cool.

Five, for example, invite us.

Which like you guys?

Okay, shall we end on a one of the week?

Yes, I want to switch it up though.

I want you to, I'm gonna go one of the week

and you will give me a quick fire.

First, it's your head of what you want.

Because that will then go into your soul and

tell me what you want.

Okay, just give me a few minutes and then you

ask me that question.

Just hold on.

Edwin, go.

God, I need a minute to think about it.

No, go.

What comes to you straight away?

56:19 One of the Week Question

Because you are a man of cars.

That's a great question, Ben.

And I'd like to answer like you answer.

Do not do this.

So here's my question to you.

What do you guys think?

Oh, is this what it's like?

Why am I on this podcast?

Right.

Well, I can't say it.

I can't say it because it's the car that I've

been offered.

Next thing I'm going to say,

go.

When I say one of the week, you go.

You know what?

Here we go.

I forgot about one of my rules.

It's because I got the 996 out.

Guys, it's coming back.

The 996 is here.

So you, that's your one on the week?

No, sorry.

It was a tangent.

I was thinking I want parts for that car.

That can be it.

What are you confused about?

I mean, what car is it?

It's not a car, it's parts.

That's not allowed.

No, I think it is.

No, Ben, we can't go switching up.

When has we ever said that?

We have said that many years now.

In fact, you have said you want parts.

One of the week right now can be a car on the road.

I want an Alfa Romeo Jr.

Next.

Is that Alfa Romeo comma, Jr.?

That's me reporting what's it's about.

I want an Alfa Romeo.

I want an Alfa Romeo Jr.

way him go.

Mark.

One.

Focus RS.

As I've said many times and you're getting

bored of it, and I appreciate that many of

you send it, but unfortunately,

there's a yellow thing behind me,

which means that I can't buy anything anymore

because I'm paying for this car.

I'm keeping it on the road, but we saw a very

cool mark on RS at Petrol Station basically,

and there was a lady driving it,

and I took a little picture of the car,

it had bonnet vents.

It also had a Matsu RS interior,

which is a really cool mod.

Sapphire vents.

Sapphire vents.

It was on Ozense.

Oh, no, they were comps.

Yeah, and we were marveling at it,

and this very nice, we came up and said,

"Oh my God, me and my husband love your stuff."

He's got that car, which I'm driving today,

and she went, "Oh, it's another Ford,

and Will and I were ready."

We were like, "What is it?

Say what it is."

And she went, "Oh, it's a Ford Ray."

And we both went racing Puma.

Yeah, that's it.

Yeah, that's cool.

Fantastic.

Also, I did an emoji tech on your car.

I don't know if you watch the channel or the

podcast or

both, but if you do.

Okay, so if you're listening,

fair

play.

Also, you're a local.

And just seeing that car out was nice,

because again, even though it's not a

supercar or something, people put those cars

away far too often, and it was being used.

And it was modified, which was very,

very cool.

Also, I just want to refine my answer.

I'm talking about the GT Junior,

Betonet Coupe from the '60s and '70s,

not the 2025 Alpha Junior crossover,

not, I don't want that one.

That was the point.

That was what I was thinking.

Ben, hurry up and speed.

And Mercedes SLS AMG.

Jesus Christ.

He's come out of left field on that.

I've just liked them a lot.

And I've seen people talking about the prices.

A coupe or a convertible?

Oh, it's got to be a coupe for the floor.

Just a coupe that's convertible to cheap.

They're cheap there.

For Ben.

But those cars a few years ago,

about 100 grand, they're coming up into the

big boys now.

Well, worth bread.

One came up on our dealer rorsion ones for

150 or something.

Yeah.

But it's three to 400k for a real nice one.

Crazy.

Matt.

You know what?

I'm going to say it.

I'm still an SLS man.

I'm still an SLR man over SLS.

I like SLRs.

I think SLRs are slept on also.

Big time.

I know that they are way more money compared

to the competitors at the time.

They were literally compared to Coro GTs and Enzo.

And yet in the still in the couple hundred,

well, many hundreds of thousands of pounds,

but they're not millions.

No.

I can see why they're not.

Yeah.

Because it's like in the other cars,

you don't have an engine that's shared or

not, an auto box and that kind of thing.

There's the engine to give us next door for that car.

But yeah, I think they will be worth big,

big monies.

I think so.

Why?

How did we miss out on them?

And it's not a big ask is I'd love a four have eight.

Sure.

An events door.

Yeah.

And less or less.

Okay.

That feels right.

That little era.

I'd love that.

That 2010 is like when I was a young boy.

I was going to say seeing those things fly past me.

That's you playing your first need for speed game.

I want that.

I want that in my garage.

And I also want someone to pay for them for me.

Fair enough.

I'm looking for a sort of sugar father.

Oh, like the lottery win.

Oh, okay.

That's

been better.

Which ever one comes first?

I mean, what a highbrow point to end the

podcast is now seven o'clock time for Will to

go home and watch football.

Then you have to go and watch it too.

I do.

Let's wrap it up.

Thank you very much for listening to this

episode of the Cream Podcast.

We will join you next.

I was

going to say a year.

Not true.

Don't worry.

Next week, as

always, see you then.

Cream.

Hopefully with a yellow car

and a world cup in in hand.

Lorys.

It's cut.

Oh, we'll be

by then.

It's coming home.

Lorys.
